Air Jordan Retro 25th Anniversary T-Shirts

Jordan Brand customarily releases accompanying apparel with bigger-name retro models and colorways. Items like hoodies, shorts, and even hats were made to match the specific colorways and designs. Releasing alongside the Air Jordan 25th Anniversary releases is a collection of white-on-white t-shirts with the respective Air Jordan silhouette. White-on-white is a pure as you can get; unhindered by any superfluous color-blocking, both the Air Jordan 25th Anniversary shoes and t-shirts should shine brighter than any other color. But examine the Air Jordan XI t-shirt for a moment, and you might notice the Jumpman logo; Why it didn’t make it on the production version of the sneaker is beyond us. These shirts will be available March 20th at Nike Harajuku and alongside the upcoming Air Jordan 25th Anniversary releases. via Harajuku.

Air Jordan VI (6) Oreo Inspired T-Shirt by Vandal-A

Reebok ‘Jean-Michel Basquiat’ Pack – Spring/Summer 2010 Lookbook

Going with an ongoing capsule for a number of seasons now, Reebok is to release a pack inspired by the contemporary art of Jean-Michel Basquiat. Somehow we ended u seeing the Fall/Winter Basquiat stuff before the upcoming season, but now we get to see the full Spring/Summer lookbook. The S/S’ aesthetics are specifically taken from Basquiat’s 1981 Untitled piece, also known as Suite of Fourteen Drawings. The pack will consist of an Omni Pump Lite and BB4600 Hi, as well as an Pump Aerobic Mid Lite Trainer Mid for women. In fact, you may have already caught a glimpse of the Omni Pumps, as we gave a quick glimpse last Summer. The pack will coincide with tshirts that also fit the design of the sneakers. Both of these guys have gained posthumous fame thanks to stockpiled works, and the ongoing collection of Basquiat-’designed’ Reeboks is exposing the late neo-expressionist to a crowd that might have never heard his name. With the Fall/Winter 2010 capsule, you can expect the Basquiat signature scrawlings in a bunch of wild colours, added to some of RBK’s greatest hits. Dwyane Wade wearing a metallic silver Air Jordan 2010 on the way to MVP honors in the 2010 NBA All Star Game won’t be the last national telecast for those kicks. Earlier tonight, one of Jordan Brand’s flagship universities broke out the silver AJ2010 with matching silver and white alternate uniforms to commemorate 25 years of Air Jordan brilliance. For the North Carolina Tar Heels, the switch is a natural fit, since the Air Jordan 2010’s feature just a hint of the University Blue insole peeking out of the inner windows. These jerseys are done in the current UNC style, while the other recent Jordan Brand Silver Anniversary Tar Heels jersey was done in a circa-’84 look. adidas Originals OT Tech Pack – Spring/Summer 2010 Footwear + Apparel

Tokyo stands as one of the meccas of sneaker culture. In fact, it is far ahead of the U.S. in terms of footwear awareness being a widespread among all ages and classes. Tokyo can be considered as one of the original sneaker-infatuated cities, which makes this adidas Originals OT Tech Pack a worthy tribute to the city. The OT or Originals Tokyo pack features three great Originals and a set of apparel that feature sharp colourways and edgy designs. The Nizza Low, Forum Mid, and Superstar all feature a black-upper white-lower blueprint with hints of blue and a razor-sharp zig-zag design, implemented differently in each pair. Every successful signature line of basketball kicks seems to be accompanied by matching apparel. Do the kicks and the apparel go hand-in-hand, or is the success mutually exclusive? In regards to Li-Ning, that remains to be seen, but take a look at Li-Ning’s line-up of apparel and you might guess that Li-Ning is here to stay.

If you saw our Li-Ning Launch Event Recap last week, you might’ve seen Baron Davis aka Beardman wear a pretty dope varsity jacket with his BD and Beardman logos adorning the front chest. Some cool t-shirts, one with Davis posterizing, or “bearding” what looks to be a helpless, clean-shaven Andrei Kirilenko were also displayed. All the aforementioned gear – two colors of the jacket and six different tees – are no available for purchase. With kicks and matching gear as part of his arsenal, Beardman and his future as an endorsee looks pretty bright (just don’t expect a call from Gilette). Nike Air Max 95 Neon + Matching Windbreaker – Available

The Neon Green Nike Air Max 95 should be a sneakerhead staple for two reasons: One, it’s simply a hot shoe, and two, it’s been re-released so many times that not having a pair would be breaking a rudimentary law of the sneakerhead creed. But stealing the spotlight might be the Neon Air Max 95 Nike Windbreaker, which features the unfailing colourway impeccably blocked on. The design of the jacket is downright filthy, from the 3M panels on the sides and rear to the neon green laces used to tighten the collar. Watch for these to start dropping at your local shoe-spot in the coming weeks, but you can already find the kicks and the jacket over at Extra Butter.
