Nike Canarinho Collection – Holiday 2009

When you realize that these kicks are Brazilian exclusives, it seems totally natural that yes, those are canaries kicking a soccer ball on the Nike Dunk Low pictured above. Sharing its nickname with Brazil’s national soccer team, this pack of kicks and gear prominently features the tiny birds in all sorts of different forms. No surprise, then, that these are the second set from Nike Sportswear’s Canarinho Collection. The most exciting addition be the new Nike Blazer Low Metro. It’s an update to the retro basketball sneaker that has a slightly Free-like forefoot. UNDFTD x Stussy x Hectic x New Balance MT580 ‘SMU’

The last time this trio got together and designed a New Balance 580 runner, the results were quite flashy. The Full Metallic Jacket Pack went hard in three shiny leather models ready for war, but their recent teamwork has resulted in something more in line with the general tendency toward ‘maturity’ in streetwear. The Undefeated x Stussy x Hectic x New Balance MT580 ‘SMU’ has a name more complex than its relatively simple design. They borrow the black/white/gum palette we’ve seen several times this year, but send it in a totally different direction with the purple lining. Nike SB – November 2009 Collection

A few weeks back, we gave you a thorough preview of Nike SB’s Fall/Holiday 2009 apparel and accessory line-up, and now it’s time for a closer look at the November portion of the collection. In addition to some fresh new footwear releases like the Bloody Gums Dunk High, Dark Chocolate Dunk Mid and Obsidian Stefan Janoski, there will also be a wide variety of apparel and accessories. This month, Nike SB will be hitting us with a bunch of new logo and Dri-Fit t-shirts, as well as some lined flannel button downs, hoodies and jackets. On the accessory front, expect to see some fresh offerings like some new fitteds and winter skullcaps, belts, wallets, socks, a scarf and a “Tiffany” version of the Eugene backpack. 180g x Nike Sportswear Paris – Tonal Dye Pack

Paris is widely regarded as the fashion capital of the world, so as part of their opening at the ‘Librarie’, Nike Sportswear employed local dyemakers 180g to freshen up some of their lifestyle models. Tonal editions of the Flytop, Tennis Classic, and newcomer Nike Flash look quite sophisticated. Meanwhile, what looks to be a nylon Dunk High in bright turquoise compliments a range of electrically-hewn NSW garb and implies we’ll see a brighter side of this collection, possibly come spring. As for now, the more conservative joints will be dropping next Thursday, November 5th at 180g, with additional pairs to sell at NikeParis.

Air Jordan Retro Collection – Noctilucence Socks – New Images

Last week, we gave you a preview of an interesting new addition to the Jordan Brand apparel arsenal. As part of the Air Jordan Retro Collection, JB will be releasing a set of Noctilucence (glow in the dark) Socks that feature elements from some classics in the legendary Air Jordan catalog. You may have already seen some of the different versions in our preview last week, but now we get a look at some more that are lined up such as some less talked about Jordans like the XVII, XVIII and XXI. It also appears that there will be another variation of the socks that has been created based on the Air Jordan V featuring the “shark tooth” design on the toe and a different collector’s box. Air Jordan Retro Collection – Noctilucence Socks – 2010

So we all know that Air Jordan will be absolutely killing it next year with the release of some classic Retro models, but now we get at look at another batch of treats up JB’s sleeve for 2010. Jordan will be releasing a collection of Noctilucence Socks based on some of the all-time great Air Jordan kicks. If you’re wondering what noctilucence means, it’s basically a technical way for saying glow in the dark, so not only do these socks incorporate elements of some legendary Air Jordans, but they also shine bright once the lights go out. It’s unclear if they will be sold separately or in packs, but as you’ll see after the jump, they will be packaged in mini shoe boxes that feature a very cool cloudy sky image on the boxtop. RESN x Diamond Supply Co. – Lester Diamond “Gucci” T-Shirt

The stars have aligned for this latest collaboration project from Diamond Supply Co. Sam Smyth of Girl Skateboards was the man responsible for designing the Tiffany and Gucci Nike SB Dunk models back in 2004, and while the Tiffany’s were released and became an instant classic, the Gucci became an urban legend with sample pairs fetching some serious scratch on eBay over the years. Now that the RESN (Smyth’s IBC Crew alias) edition of the Nike SB Dunk High Premium is scheduled for release, Smyth has teamed up with Diamond Supply Co. for a super-fresh t-shirt collaboration to be released alongside the Gucci Dunks. The shirt features an interesting shmear of relevant elements presented in a simple stylish way.

The shirt sports an illustration of James Woods’ Lester Diamond character from Martin Scorsese’s Casino. Besides that his last name is Diamond, Lester also applies to the collab because of the extra-dope Gucci jacket that he wears in the diner scene of the film before getting roughed up by Ace Rothstein’s goons. Under the illustration is one of Lester’s creepier lines from the movie, with a “RESN for Diamond Supply Co.” shout-out on the back of the shirt. Look for the t-shirt to drop around the same time as the RESN Dunks some time next month. Via CtotheJL.
