Italy’s Slam Jam is synonymous with neck-breaking collaborations, from their Nike Air Force 1 Lows to the more recent Asics Gel Lyte III. Here we see the store switch from blinding color to a more novel approach as the Slam Jam x Converse Jack Purcell ‘Summer Journey’ makes its mark with the nickname spelled out on the tongues. Add to this the red medial rivets that match the Purcell’s smile and we’re looking at one of the more unique renditions this classic style has seen. Blazers have fallen by the wayside just a bit in the Nike SB catalog as of late, with not too many collab pairs available in comparison to the always prolific Dunk category. Selecting the shoes as part of his upcoming capsule, anonymous street artist Neck Face gets his signature scrawl all over this pair, with the names of various SB riders showing up across the upper. The next Vans collaboration that we’re putting you up is certainly an unexpected one. Coming from the Vans Syndicate team is this no frills Vans Sk8-Hi pair, one produced in collaboration with Ice T’s on-again off-again heavy metal band Body Count (Most famous for their controversy sparking track “Cop Killer”). There’s no release info or word of a bigger capsule quite yet, but even if it ends up as a one off consisting of just the Vans Sk8-Hi release we’re pretty this team up will go down as a fan favorite for sneaker lovers with a knack for hip-hop history. After the regional release that went down last weekend, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Finally” from the FTC team is heading for a wider retail release this Saturday, June 1st. The shoe has a very “Plum” feel to it, a palette that began as a Nike Dunk Low only to later transition onto the Nike SB Dunk High. Hong Kong skate shop 8FIVE2 has stepped up to become the foremost Nike SB Stefan Janoski collaborator, adding their second such collab in as many years. Following up on last spring’s black/olive edition comes a pristine white Stefan Janoski SE Velcro. This crisp makeup finds a balance between tradition and ‘grandfather shoes’, skipping the laces in favor of a more mature swag. These just arrived at select retailers, and you’ll need to head out to find them as this 8FIVE2 Janoski SE is an in-store only release at shops like Premier.

Here we see the Aussie artist officially link up with Nike to craft a mural at the Swoosh’s Melbourne offices. Saucony is sending their Shadow Original silhouette out to Spain next, letting the Catalan curators at 24 Kilates have their way with the shoe. The result is the Saucony Shadow Original “Mar y Montana” (Sea and Mountain), a pair which has some oceanic looking blues on the top have together with a rugged set of browns to match the terrestrial part of the equation.
