Earlier today Sneaker News gave you a look at some upcoming colorways of the Supra Chimera designed by Lil Wayne as part of the budding Spectre by Supra line. The future of this interesting new line has a lot more to celebrate beyond the Chimera because Supra expects this new endeavor to flourish as it takes on the street/skate scene with full force. Supra held a special unveiling party in Miami on Friday night, with a load of notable names like Bun B, Stevie J, Don Cannon, Mack Maine, skaters Chaz Ortiz, Stevie Williams and Chad Muska, French rappers Booba and Gato and, of course, Lil Wayne and the new Chimera sneaker. Along with a special display for the Chimera and other upcoming shoes, indoor vert ramps were installed for the skaters to put the shoe into action, tattoo artist BJ Betts provided complimentary tattoos, and of course, there were loads and loads of women (it’s Miami, would you expect any less?). Check out the full event recap for the Lil Wayne x Spectre by Supra unveiling below and stay tuned for a release of the Chimera on May 18th.

One of the more engaging stories in the sneaker community over the last two years was the emergence of the ShoeZeum that was owned, operated, and curated by Jordan Geller – one of the most enthusiastic sneaker collectors ever to lace up a pair of shoes. Sneaker News had the fortunate opportunity to not only break the ShoeZeum story wide open in 2011, but also to be at the grand opening of the ShoeZeum Las Vegas in August of 2012; creating a near-complete sneaker collection filled with the most amazing heat on the planet and having it available for public viewing is a feat that no other person in the world might have been able to accomplish, but Jordan has put a lot of time, work and money into this, and after an impressive run, he’s ready to move on to a new chapter.
Beginning last night, Jordan is putting almost the entire ShoeZeum collection up for grabs on eBay, listing either 9, 23, or 45 different individual items per day. That gives sneaker collectors a rare chance to purchase some of the most sought-after shoes on the planet, and with every single auction starting off at $0.99, it’s anyone’s game – and who knows, you might even cop a steal! This might be the biggest auction event in sneaker collection history and there will be without question some serious heat up for grabs, so check out some of the major highlights that just went up for bidding and keep an eye out for more gems popping up daily in Jordan Geller’s eBay store – shoezeum on eBay.

Stateside it seems that J.Crew is the only group that’s allowed to put their hands on the New Balance 1400. Elsewhere though the NB team has been a bit more liberal with the model. INVINCIBLE for instance got their own SMU, electing to use the opportunity to give the sneaker a remixed brogue shoe styling. Those holes across the upper aren’t the only little details that you should be paying attention to though-equally exciting is the smooth leather inside. Hit the jump for a full gallery on the INVINCIBLE x New Balance 1400 and watch for them at INVINCIBLE on May 18th, with a global release going down in June.

Its name prominently spelled out in bold capital letters across the sides, the Saucony Courageous was a perfect canvas for bold high-contrast colorways and neck-breaking collaborations in the mid-late ’00s. Here we see the Japanese label responsible for reimagining the Jazz O last year take a 180 and apply arguably the model’s subtlest colorways to date. The White Moutaineering x Saucony Courageous trio emphasizes premium suede and leather with carefully blocked tonal colorways. A leather sockliner befits this luxurious collab, and a $300+ pricetag reflects the ultra premium materials you can add to your collection right now at End.
