Collections: Nike + Air Jordan PEs

It’s safe to say that all of you reading this consider yourselves ‘collectors’ to some extent. While we all fit under the broad umbrella of sneaker collecting, most of us have a specific category that weighs heavy in our hearts. This collection submitted by winson_guo for example goes ham on the PE’s, opting to chase down some of the more elusive pieces of sneaker history out there. The selection includes pairs from big name Nike and Jordan athletes like Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul, and branches out over a good number of models. There’s plenty of Jordan legacy releases with the team flavored colorways, the Air Jordan 2010, Air Jordan 2011, and Air Jordan XII to name a few, then groups from Nike Basketball sig’s like the Nike Zoom Kobe VI and the Nike Air Max LeBron VII. Follow us after the jump for the full photos and let us know what you think of this collection.

Collections: Basement Of The Js by Mark Bostic

Just when you thought your Air Jordan collection was on point, it’s dulled to a rounded nub with this sick compilation by Mark Bostic of Detroit. Over the year’s he’s amassed a mind-blowing collection of 727 pairs of Air Jordans – originals, Retros, PEs, Fusions – as well as some notable memorabilia in the form of jerseys, basketball, Wheaties boxes, and many more. Clearly the space above ground was becoming limited, so he transformed his entire basement into on huge heat-filled vault that he calls ‘Basement of the J’s’. Continue reading for some sample viewings of this amazing collection of Air Jordans and head to Sneaker Freaker for the full interview and feature.

Nike Air Force 1 & Air 180 iDs By Slovadon

Nike iD’s recent reintroductions of the Nike Air 180 as well as the Nike Air Force 1 Low sparked a resurgence in creativity and design. Even though iDs are typically more expensive than general release models, it’s a price worth paying, especially when you’re getting the colorway you want. Apparently, Slovadon, who has dazzled us with his sick Air Force 1 Bespoke designs, had a hard time picking out just one colorway, so he decided to show off his most recent Nike iD pick-ups – four pairs of the Air Force 1 Low and three pairs of the Air 180. The standouts? The Air Force 1 Year of the Rabbit iD and the Black/Gold Air 190s. We’ve got a nice set of images for you below so take a look and let us know which you like best.

Collections: Baby Air Jordans By busy

He’s got every single Air Jordan model checked off in this sick compilation, with multiple colorways of some of his clear favorites like the Air Jordan VII and Air Jordan XI, and just by the quality of what’s in this collection, it might be one of the most thorough collections we’ve seen thus far. Primitive x DVS x Torey Pudwill

Sneaker companies certainly have gotten more bold about paying tribute to ‘herbal culture’. Back in the day a simple hemp upper and a wink-and-nod release date was the most you would get, but this collaboration between Primitive, DVS, and their team rider Torey Pudwill is an homage to California culture that is anything but subtle. The insoles and laces both feature the leafy print, with an extra set of the latter so you can switch them out on school days. The standard DVS tongue-tang is traded out for an image straight off the California state flag, with the familiar bear and star imagery. This capsule packs two pairs of the sneaker shown above, as well as a couple t-shirts to match. Get the full look at the promo spot after the jump as well as detailed images and grab these now from Primitive.

Collections: Just Blaze Tweets Random Sneakers

Hip-hop beatmaker Just Blaze recently went through his sneaker closet room during a house-cleaning session and decided to tweet some stray pairs from his impressive collection. Sporting rare collabs, OG Nike Basketball kicks, and some friends-and-family pairs, Just Blaze definitely turned up the heat with his sick stash, which included the Pharrell x Nike Dunk High, the ESPO x Nike Air Force II, and boxes upon boxes of Bape x adidas Super Skate Mids. Just Blaze himself mentioned that he’s not into the “new age sneaker game”, explaining the lack of recent releases in his collection, but the pure quality of this sampling only forces us to wonder what other gems he has in his sneaker vault. Check out some of Just Blaze’s kicks below and let us know which of the bunch you like best.
