Air Jordan 1 “Howard University” Customs for P. Diddy

air jordan 1 howard university Air Jordan 1 Howard University Customs for P. Diddy

Diddy is a doctor. That’s right, the man born Sean Combs picked up an honorary doctorate from Howard University this weekend – that’s the school he dropped out of back in 1990 to focus on the music business. To commemorate the moment, P. Diddy had Relevant Customs whip up these Air Jordan 1s, which feature a colorway made to match with that Washington DC school and some lettering across the back end that has them just a tad reminiscent of the old “Hoyas” Nike Terminator. Continue reading to get the rest of the angles on them and then let us know in the comments what you think of Diddy’s custom sneakers.

Nike LeBron 11 “Vector” by Revive Customs

This new custom pair of the LeBron 11 is one without a crazy theme or elaborate story. That might come as a let down to some of you, but that approach lets the creators of custom sneakers really flex their ability to create something that could realistically be at retail, rather than a high-concept pair with an insane level of graphics or materials. How do you think Revive Customs did with this one? Tell us down in the comments after you check the rest of the photos for the polygonal looking Nike LeBron 11 “Vector” after the break.

It’s not often you see a customized pair of the Air Yeezy 2, so when one does come across, it’s worth taking notice. This latest sneaker custom adopts the third “Net” colorway from the first Yeezy sneaker, but its more than just a color-swap that makes up this reworked pair of kicks. Maggi Customs rebuilt the upper with a flat leather panel replacing the python panel as well as the signature perforated toe-box returning on this well-executed pair. Should this colorway have released? Maybe it’s one of those unreleased Yeezy samples that never saw the light of day? Check out the gallery below and let us know what you think.

The baseball diamond is a sports platform that you won’t usually find sneaker heat (we’ll leave that to the NBA), but occasionally, we’ll get an unexpected surprise. In this case, we take a look at Kansas City Royals Pitcher Jeremy Guthrie’s custom Nike Foamposite cleats; the starting pitcher has been known to have some heat in his collection (as well as an incredible sneaker vault), and he’s delivered some of his personal stash to the mound – you may remember his custom Max Orange Air Jordan 1. If we were to guess when Guthrie would break out these gems, it would be during his upcoming start against the Orioles at Baltimore, a city that has often been credited for kickstarting the Foamposite craze. Check out the custom Foamposite cleats below and let us know what you think.

Will the Nike Air Foamposite One “Knicks” ever become a retail reality? The gap between their first popping up and a possible retail arrival would be pretty big at this point – but then again the “Shooting Stars” are coming to shelves soon so we won’t rule it out completely. Imagining an alternate fate as far as Knicks and Foams are concerned is this Sole Swap creation that eases up on the orange and blue just a little bit. Continue reading to see extra angles on these Foams from the lab of Jason Negron and log your reactions down in the comments box below.

Did Nike SB ever do a better job of the 4/20 sneaker release than on the Nike SB Dunk “Skunk” High? That special release had them looking extra fuzzy and was pretty brazen with its tribute thanks to the skunk graphic that showed up for the insole. Riffing off that release is this Nike SB Dunk Low creation from Dank Customs, which goes the recent Nike SB route of switching up the height on a classic pair. Get a look at the results after the break and then tell us in the comments if you’d like to see this sort of pair hit retail.
