Every sneaker collectors dreams about getting free shoes from Jordan Brand. However, few of us have the skills or business relationships to do so. It looks like a trend now: first, adidas reappropriated the boat shoe in a hybrid sneaker, but now, it’s unavoidable that colourful boat shoes are the flavor de jour. And with these releases from Portugese label Danessa, that flavor is ever so satisfying. Danessa got up with Japanese retailer Journal Standard and pumped out a set of seven stunning deck shoes. Instead of relying solely on the traditional brown and occasional navy blue, Danessa and JS added striking kelly greens, brick reds and cobalt blues. Each in rich suede atop a gum sole, the entire collection is ready now at the JS e-store.

We recently showed you two Ato Matsumoto sneakers in new colorways that were announced as part of the brand’s Spring/Summer collection. Another pair of the cow hide high-top sneakers has just surfaced as a collaborations between Ato Matsumoto and Japanese label Roc Star. The shoe as a whole looks like a throwback to the popular designs of the late ’80s and early ’90s with a modern twist of patent leather all around the upper. Colors are kept simple and flashy with a mostly black scheme along with pink thrown in on the out-sole and the upper. Pink is used as a solid color and speckled design on the two straps and tongue while the rest of the upper rocks some dope, black, patent leather. These are due to hit the Phenomenon Harajuku in the very near future for a price tag of 30,450yen or $337.00USD. via Hypebeast

For some of the more notable collaborations Stussy has had a hand in, Neighborhood was the other. Their Boneyard Pack of Terminators and Blazers met with mixed reviews, but the surf-inspired clothing label isn’t done yet.
Working with Dr. Martens, Stussy has managed a stunning reworking of the classic Desert Boot. Appearing in standard as well as unexpected colours, we see the Stussy touch in the rich suede uppers and contrasting laces. Both of these companies enjoyed their first great success in the 90′s, but this collection is set for a late Summer/early Fall 2009 release. Via UrbanCamou

Wanna look a bit fresher than Stash did at last month’s launch even for his collabo with Lacoste? Look no further than another project from the graffiti legend, this time in conjunction with another European power.
As we showed you back in November, Stash has laid his personal touch upon another pair of Clarks Originals flagship model, the Wallabee. We mistakenly reported that these joints are canvas but have found that the traditional suede upper is actually in use atop the signature crepe rubber sole. Whatever the fabric, these joints are ready for you now: some sizes at STLESS, the whole slew to follow soon at Britain’s own SCHUH. Good look to SnkrFrkr on the UK drop.

You may recognize the above sneaker as the shoe that made sneaker heads around the world wonder what it was when Kanye West rocked them on his international tour a while back. These are the Ato high top sneakers made out of cow hide and done up with a nice use of patent leather straps and a unique design. The shoe pictured above features grey, yellow, blue and orange spread throughout the sneaker. The top of the toe-box and front strap are both light blue while the back streap and heel /ankle area is colored yellow and orange. Grey is used on the rest of the shoe to contrast the dope color scheme and materials. A second colorway can be seen below featuring black, green and purple. Both pairs are available now at Revolution.

Kobe Bryant’s latest signature shoe, the Nike Zoom Kobe IV, has made history as the lightest basketball shoe ever create as well as one of the lowest cut basketball shoes out there. The Zoom Kobe IV iD is also notable, aside from all the sick technical and design aspects of the shoe, for the fact that is is one of the first Nike signature shoe for a superstar that has been available on Nike iD. Since Christmas Day in 2008, the Zoom Kobe IV has been available on Nike iD in limited quantities of 24 per day.
Those that have been lucky enough to grab a spot online have come up with a variety of colorways and been kind enough to share their creations with other sneaker heads. The pair above was done up in a Fairfax High School colorway, which is the high school located in Los Angeles that is sponsored by LeBron James. Some have chosen to design the shoes with traditional Lakers colorways, keeping true to Kobe’s home and away colors. Fans of other teams have chosen to give the shoe a colorway that goes with their favorite jerseys (see the Knicks colorway after the jump). Others have ventured away from traditional colorways and have designed the shoe using whatever inspiration struck their imagination.
The Zoom Kobe IV is scheduled to only be available on Nike iD until February 1st, so be sure to try your luck at grabbing a pair before it’s too late. Big ups to all the members of Sole Collector Forums and Nike Talk who have taken the time to share their Zoom Kobe IV iDs.

Earlier today we showed you an image of the high top sneaker to come out of the collaboration between Louis Vuitton and the Louis Vuitton Don himself (Kanye West). Two new images have surfaced of Kanye wearing the High Top shoe that should remove some of the mystery of what the shoe will look like. The high-top looks to have a mostly light grey suede upper with a leather patch of the same color around the mid-panel area. Covered with brown suede is the heel area while the two straps on the laces show us how Kanye can keep those types of details fresh. The upper has a pretty neutral colorway, so to pop things off Kanye has added a pink sole with the LV logos by the heel. There is no official release information for these, but as always we will keep you posted on all relevant info for these and Kanye’s five other shoes he has agreed to work on with LV.
