The Jordan Brand Big Three spent a few extra days off this week to rest for the big stage, currently scheduled to kick off tomorrow. Out West, Chris Paul will lead Lob City against the tough Memphis Grizzlies squad wearing two PE colorways of the Jordan CP3.V, which shuffles around the Clippers’ crest of White, Red, and Varsity Royal. In the East, Melo and Wade will meet in a collision down in Miami, as the Heat invite the Knicks to their Home Court for Game 1 of their series. Carmelo Anthony will wearing two Playoff colorways of the Jordan Melo M8, while Dwyane Wade will make the official transition to the Jordan Fly Wade 2 EV (with a third ‘Cool Grey’-like colorway also in the mix). After watching the shoes in action, you’ll have the opportunity to cop the entire 2012 NBA Playoff Collection from Jordan Brand beginning on May 9th, so check out the gallery below and let us know which of the Jordan Brand Big Three has the best shot at the Larry O’Brien trophy!

As we enter the final week of the 2011-2012 NBA Regular Season, a few questions arise. Who is this year’s sneaker champ? The best PE is? Who is the most underrated ‘sneakerhead’ in the NBA? You can debate the answers to those questions without end, because this year was one of the most diverse years of NBA Feet, with a ton of usuals and new faces getting plenty of the spotlight. This weekend, we saw a nice assortment of kicks, like Manny Harris’ Nike LeBron 9 ‘Christmas’, Rudy Gay’s Air Max Tempo ‘Michigan’, Gerald Wallace’s Air Jordan 2012, and Kobe’s latest Nike Zoom Kobe VII PE. There is, of course, a lot more to see below, so check out the best of the bunch below and let us know what you think! Photos: espn

There’s a little less than two weeks to go in the NBA season, but the NBA kicks just seem to get better and better. After debuting the Ambassador IV on Friday night, LeBron whipped out the Nike LeBron 9 Low in Black/Red against the Knicks on Sunday. The Garden seemed to be home to a lot of great sightings, because we saw the Air Jordan 2012, Air Jordan X, Kobe VII ‘Wolf’, and even John Wall’s ‘Beyond The Gold’ PE hit the Mecca floor. Other notables include Nate Robinson showing the Melo M8 some love, OJ Mayo rocking the tonal patent leather navy Air Max CB 34 HOH exclusives, and Timofey Mosgov boasting what might be the best iD colorway of the Huarache 2k4. The sneaker king of the week is without a doubt Monta Ellis, who showed up on Friday night with the Air Jordan XVI CDP and Air Jordan XVIII CDP (switching at halftime), and on Sunday with the Silver Anniversary XI. More of this weekend’s best footwear sightings, so take a look for a full recap of NBA Feet! Photos: espn

The first couple Jordan D’Reign colorways showed us how this model blends the patent leather introduced on the Air Jordan XI with Dwyane Wade’s era as Jordan Brand’s number one baller. This latest model takes that connection considerably further, the ‘Cool Grey’ Wade D’Reign ending up closer to the CG AJIX thanks to the patent mudguard that stretches from toe to heel and all the way up the the ankle eyelets. These probably won’t get the kind of attention from collectors as that Cool Grey Nine’s holiday season release, but how do they compare to the other D’Reigns, or even the first round of CG-paneled Fly Wades from last summer? Let us know after you check out the photos on the other side and stick with Sneaker News for US release info. Photos: Taobao

Dwyane Wade is still pulling out new player exclusive colorways of the Fly Wade 2 as of Easter weekend, but April also means that the NBA Playoffs are right around the corner, and that will signal a shift in sneaker choices for the guy who got Miami their first and only championship. Will the Jordan Fly Wade 2 EV show up alongside Commissioner Stern at the end of the Finals in June? This intense Gym Red, black and white colorup resembles the postseason look for Michael Jordan’s six rings, a palette that’s practically synonymous with the Larry O’Brien trophy. It’s hard to say what could happen come playoff time, but we do know for sure what D-Wade, LeBron and Kobe will be wearing; who’s got the best 2012 NBA Playoff sneakers so far? Let us know when you head over to the other side for more images of the ‘Gym Red’ Fly Wade 2 EV and stick with Sneaker News for release info. Photos: HoopCity

The Fly Wade debuted last May as Jordan Brand’s lightest basketball sneaker ever, its sleek lines soon giving rise to the Fly 23 offshoot model that subsequently appeared in a plethora of team-oriented colorways. The Fly 23′s name and shape made it clear their DNA was Wade’s, but 2012′s Jordan D’Reign goes so far as to add the Miami shooting guard’s new ‘W’ insignia to the tongue to make perfectly clear that this is a part of his signature lineup. This pair’s white, black and Varsity Red colorup further connects it to the Heat team colors, but these are more likely to show up at your local playground than American Airlines Arena thanks to the rugged XDR (Extra Durable Rubber) outsole. Have a look at the way their patent leather toe pops from the all-white upper and stick with Sneaker News for release info. Photos: HC

Even though it’s not entirely clear where the money would come from, Dwyane Wade recently voiced his opinion that the USA Basketball Olympic squad should be compensated for their time. And while that will probably never happen, D-Wade is indeed getting a little something extra from Jordan Brand in time for NBA Playoff action. Maybe the more optimistic LeBron James can remind his teammate that he’s dealing with a have-and-eat-cake situation here, as the artist formerly known as ‘Flash’ will take this new sleeker Jordan Fly Wade 2 EV for a spin during some Heat home games before heading off to London for the 2012 Olympic Games. The upgrades in technology and aesthetics are as clear as the Flywire you’ll see in more detailed images below, so take a look and let us know how these compare to the initial Fly Wade 2 design. Finishing off another solid week of NBA Feet is a recap of Wednesday and Thursday games, which featured plenty of Air Jordans, Player Exclusives, and Nike Retro Basketball kicks. Gilbert Arenas made his first appearance with the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’, while teammate Rudy Gay took the court with the Nike Air Max Tempo. Dwyane Wade rocked a Black/Red PE of the Jordan Fly Wade 2, while Kevin Durant led the Thunder wearing the Nike N7 Zoom KD IV in the Home colorway. Plenty more to see below, so take a look and let us know who brought the best heat to the NBA court! Photos: espn
