The Miami Heat are your 2013 NBA Champions. The series came down to the wire, with the ultimate Game 7 down in South Beach providing the perfect proving grounds for the Heat. LeBron James played with his eyes on history, dominating the game and lighting up from beyond the three point line. Dwyane Wade was there in vintage form as well, chipping in with 23 points and grabbing 10 boards along the way. Those two names combined with the Heat’s strong supporting cast helped them get there, the confetti falling for them for the second year in a row as the fourth quarter came to its conclusion.

For what it’s worth, the Spurs fought with everything they had for those last 48 minutes of the season. The veteran team kept things close, but a missed layup by the aging Tim Duncan at the end of regulation seemed to seal their fate. They didn’t fall short on the blowout level that some expected after the exhausting Game 6, but they did indeed fall short. Is this just the beginning of a new era of Miami Heat dominance in the NBA, as suggested by LeBron James when he initially made his move to South Beach? Is this the swan song for the Ginobli/Parker/Duncan chapter in the Spurs’ story? Give us your thoughts below after you check the last set of NBA sneaker shots from this season, and the last from what certainly registered as one of the most exciting series the league has offered up in the new millennium.

Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat have just one more test for this season. They’ve got to win two games back to back, a feat that’s not yet been achieved in the 2013 NBA Finals, and secure a second championship in a row tonight against the Spurs. Preparing for that momentous occasion yesterday, D-Wade was spotted wearing yet another exclusive of his post-season Li-Ning Way of Wade Encore model. This time around the colors weren’t too “Heat” looking though, instead it was a grey flavor with some gooey green sections injected. See more right after the jump and then tell us your predictions for what’s sure to be an exciting game this evening.

Spurs supporters shed a tear at their teams inability to finish up the series. Heat fans rejoiced as their team managed once again to stay alive in this post=season. And NBA fans all over were blessed with not only a roller coaster OT Game 6, but a result that promised a riveting Game 7 as well. Jesus Shuttlesworth did what he does best, hitting a key three to buy his team an over time period (With the Air Jordan XX8 on feet mind you). LeBron James, wearing one of the three Nike LeBron X Elites we’ve seen him rotating, lost his headband and seemingly stepped his game up quite a bit as a result. Get a photo recap after the jump and give us your predictions for what’s sure to be an exciting Game 7.

The Big Three of the Miami Heat were back in fine form last night, with the combination of LeBron, Wade, and Bosh scoring 85 points to help their team to victory. Their sneakers matched the performance, as player exclusive versions of the Nike LeBron X Elite, Li-Ning Way of Wade Encore, and Nike Air Max Hyperposite, respectively, hit the floor for the players. The Spurs sort of went with the “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” approach-Tim Duncan lacing up the same pair of the adidas Crazyquick and Gary Neal hoping to match his breakout 3-point shooting performance with the same Nike Zoom KD IV. Get those stories after the jump by perusing this latest NBA Feet gallery we’ve got lined up for the 2013 NBA Finals.

Well that wasn’t even close. The Big Fundamental and his team overpowered the likes of the Big Three by a huge margin last night, the Spurs ending up victorious in a 113-77 win. Many of the sneaker selections stayed the same in terms of models, although we saw plenty of color switch ups given that the tables turned in terms of home/away orientation. The world’s best basketball player didn’t have the greatest night but his sneakers had a pretty good one, as there were some five Nike LeBron wears on the floor between the Nike LeBron X Elite, Nike LeBron X, and the Nike Zoom Soldier VI. Even Kevin Durant was around thanks to free agent Gary Neal, who channeled both his shoes (Nike Zoom KD IV on feet) and his three point shooting (six for the night). The Heat struck back last night, taking care of the Spurs in a not-even-close Game 2. LeBron James cooled down just a little bit in terms of footwear, this time bringing out a previous PE instead of wowing us with yet another alternate colorup. D-Wade shed the black and gold in favor of a more Heat-leaning red and yellow pair of Li-Ning exclusives, and Chris Bosh continued to be the flag-bearer for the Nike Air Max Hyperposite. Outside of that the Spurs was again a diverse team: Manu Ginobli stayed in LeBron footwear with his “Prism”, Tim Duncan wore the adidas Crazyquick again, and Tony Park preferred Peak (Although we’ve still yet to see that finals PE). nba finals 2013 game 1 NBA Feet: 2013 Finals Game 1 Recap

Game 1 of the 2013 NBA Finals is in the books and it’s Spurs 1-0. The Heat sneaker scene at the American Airlines Arena in Miami last night proved a hopeful one, one littered with gold laden footwear that certainly spoke towards the title that’s on the line. Dwyane Wade hit the court in a black/gold/white Li-Ning Way of Wade Encore, Ray Allen opted for his white and gold Air Jordan XX8 special, and LeBron’s sneakers had that a little bit of that floss factor as well thanks to a gold Swoosh stamped on the side. The Spurs kept things pretty close to their regular season wears, Tim Duncan showing off the adidas Crazyquick and the likes of Manu Ginobli and Danny Green taking on King James in a few black based pairs from his own Nike LeBron series. Continue reading for a peek at the on-feet action and stay tuned as Sneaker News brings you all the way to that Larry O’Brien trophy this year with NBA Feet.
