Do you get that “Olive” vibe when you take a look at this brand new Jordan Melo M9 colorway? That’s not the exact shade used for their upper (It’s squadron green if you’re taking notes), but they still feel pretty similar to that Air Jordan IX colorway. Keep in mind that the Jordan Melo M9 had not yet made its debut when the aforementioned retro came back around in 2012, so it’s understandable that they weren’t a coinciding release. See more of the pair via the photos lined up for you below and grab them now if you please, courtesy of empire_sneakers07 on eBay.

Will the Air Jordan XVI ever properly join the ranks of retro Jordans? There was clearly a plan to have it do so, as we’ve seen a handful of samples labeled for Fall 2012 floating around over the past half year. This pair is one of them, a colorway which kind of has that “Concord” appeal thanks to the combination of black patent leather and white mesh. Unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be the, as the Air Jordan XVI has definitely been left in the vaults for this go-round. See more on the Air Jordan XVI sample in black/gym red/white/metallic silver after the jump and then peep the price from oregonsole on eBay.

The patent leather look is one that’s not happened too many times on the Air Jordan V. Most recently there was that independence day style release in 2011, one that was preceded by the likes of the “Dark Army”. Shown here is an outtake of that shoe, one which has some strange alterations that set it apart from the retail version. Differences include the missing 23 embroidery, the all white stitching, and the greened out look for the midsole teeth. Click through to see some more on the unreleased look-see version of the Air Jordan V “Dark Army” and then check out the sample from rpatel194black on eBay.

Derek Jeter has been a Jordan Brand athlete for a quite a long time; in fact, he was the first signature athlete for the Brand in a sport that wasn’t basketball. He’s also been doing the PE thing for a long time before he got his own signature line of on-field cleats. Need proof? Check out this crazy black and white Air Jordan VI PE that Jeter wore for a while way back in 2000; the shoes feature his #2 on the tongues as well as his autograph across the front end (did we mention they’re game-worn and autographed?). Get a better look at this baseball cleat Air Jordan VI exclusive, one which uses Zoom Air for cushioning rather than Max Air in the basketball version, and then check out the auction for the Derek Jeter pair from bluphi1 on eBay.

This year’s “What the LeBron” edition was one that actually came to retail, albeit via super limited numbers, as the Nike LeBron X “MVP”. And since they were so very very limited, we wouldn’t at all be surprised to see folks rushing to recreate them with the help of some custom creators. JP Custom Kicks for example has gone ahead and whipped up a Nike LeBron X “What the LeBron”, a shoe shown here that picks up pointers from the “Christmas”, “Pure Platinum”, “BHM”, and more. Continue reading to see his handiwork and then bid on the Nike LeBron X “What the LeBron” by JP Custom Kicks for yourself from supaman715 on eBay.

The non-Oregon player exclusive retro Jordans have been some of the most elusive to date amongst the collegiate group. At long last we get a better look at the Air Jordan IV “Marquette”, a Golden Eagles looking pair that actually has quite a bit in common with the previously released “Tour Yellow” colorway of the same sneaker. The shoes feel like just a little bit of a step down from the likes of the aforementioned Oregon and the UNC, as there aren’t any apparent logos attached to really tie them in to their team. Take a full look at the pair after the jump and then check out the crazy price they sold for from air_phenom on eBay.
