One of the more famed unreleased Foamposite samples in history is this Chocolate/Mocha colorway that first surfaced in 2006. Despite never officially hitting retailers, a very small number of retailers actually sold these back in the day, although they weren’t that much of a hit at the time anyway. But with Foamposite popularity and incredible heights and options in the color palette getting leaner with each passing release, could this Chocolate/Mocha sample fare better in stores today, or will these be an easy pass? We don’t come across these samples often so check out the photos after the jump and see the listing in full from sneakerman227 on eBay.

There’s plenty of Kobe heat to look forward to even though the Black Mamba has been out of action (and will be for a considerable time). The Mambacurial joints have been keep the Kobe name buzzing, but many have been looking towards this Lakers-specific colorway that has been making its rounds as the “Purple Gradient” release. With the color fade going from light to dark at the toe to the heel and the clean white outsole joining the speckled midsole, the Nike Kobe 8 “Purple Gradient” might be one of the best team-based colorways of the year. These are officially releasing this Saturday, but avoid the release date hassle by getting a pair now from kickslusive on eBay.

How often do you a deadstock pair of the Air Jordan 1 in the original White/Red/Black colorway with the original box and hangtag? It’s definitely a rare occurrence, even with so many more opportunistic sellers looking to cash in on the vintage sneaker craze, but these are in such great shape (no visible cracking on the leather) that you might even be able to lace them up. What’s more is that the original box has the original sticker price labeled on the shoe ($65) with a discount sticker reading $19.99! Definitely an awesome find so check out this pristine pair of AJ1s below and see the full listing from jjchick on eBay.

The unique details of the “Army Camo” Nike Foamposite are making these more and more enticing as we approach a release (confirmed date not yet known), as we see yet another hang-tag featuring a military-themed crest in a Volt/Black colorway. In addition to the details on the shoes, the Nike Sportswear box features a special billboard on the inner face of the lid with more military-themed graphics, pointing to potential series of military-inspired Foamposite releases. For those not feeling the Camo, the Sport Royal joints should definitely keep you occupied, but if you’re in the market for these and want to get them early, get this size 8.5 now from keepitrealvtg on eBay.

One of the little differences that separated the OG Air Jordan XI retail pairs from the PE ones was the occasional appearance of the stitched on numbers for the back end. Of course, the retail version had the numbers as well-they were just applied in a slightly different manner. Shown here is an Air Jordan XI “Columbia” featuring that detail, one that appears to have been made for Michael Jordan himself. You’ll recall that that was a colorway MJ brought out at that year’s NBA All-Star, so there’s a slight chance that this may even be that very pair. Continue reading to see the 23-stitched PE of the Air Jordan XI “Columbia” for Mike and then get a look at the price from mattmontero23 on eBay.

It can be argued that the Air Jordan X is the simplest (in terms of design) Air Jordan ever created. After all, the upper is built with basic leather with just a few distinguishing layers on the mudguard and lace placket giving the shoe any sort of real character. In 2006, Jordan Brand created these seamless samples with colored leather in several different ones like yellow, red, orange, and more. Despite the flat, no-sew upper, these have a ton of character to ‘em and this sort of tonal colored sneaker might not have fared well back in 2006. Would these be a bigger hit if they released this year, or are these samples a bit too out of the ordinary? Check out the detailed photos below and let us know if you’d be open to seamless Air Jordan mock-ups, and be sure to take a look and the full listing from depeche23mode on eBay.

The Nike Kobe 8 continues to impress us with some great color-combos – even on the ones that appear to be exclusive for kids sizes. We first showed you this nice colorway last week, but here’s an updated look at the “Baltic Blue” colorway; it features the aforementioned cool Baltic Blue tone with hints of Neo Turquoise and Bright Citrus for a rather nice combination – a rather “tropical” look that should please the younger Kobe fans. We’ve got more angles for viewing below, so take a look and purchase now from ny_5thavenue on eBay.
