Nike Air Max Plus – Black – White – Vivid Blue

Following up on the ‘ICE’-leaning style, we have another Nike Air Max Plus release to share with you.  Maybe we should be more specific about that wording though, because this Tuned Air classic isn’t on the verge of releasing at all Nike Sportswear stores, just those in one particular region (and in fact, just one specific chain).  This one is a bit closer to the original look of the shoe whose staying power arguably rivals that of more celebrated predecessors like the Air Max 95.  It still has a bit of today’s graphic flare with the two-tone mesh upper and bold contrasts, so click in to see more, then cop yours at the only store that has this colorway: Foot Locker EU.

Nike Air Max Plus – Volt – Black – Neon Green

The Nike Air Max Plus is almost always excluded from the larger packs that unite Nike Sportswear’s Max Air running classics.  It has a substantial following to this day, especially over in Europe, but doesn’t run alongside that AM1/90/95/97 Rushmore we see grouped so often.  Here we have a case, though, where the ‘Tuned 1′ as it is sometimes called, gets a bit of the ‘Ice’ look as pioneered on the Air Max 90 this spring.  Click in for a closer look at this faceted upper graphic, then find your pair at the only store that sells these: Foot Locker EU.

Nike Air Huarache – Cargo Green – Sequoia Green – Neon

Setting aside the whole geographical exclusivity issue for a moment, now is a really good time to be a fan of Nike Huaraches and specifically the sandal-inspired line’s first running shoe.  The Nike Air Huarache has come through in some of the more popular original colorways over the last year, as well as slightly revised takes on a couple of the more obscure OGs.  This new style fits into that latter category in the sense that it borrows from the style on the new ‘Slate’ and ‘Chestnut’ leaning pairs, but it would appear this one is more a welcome new addition than any reference to an earlier release.  Click in to see how the mossy green suede plays with neon tongue tags and black soles, then see what you can do about getting a pair from European Nike Sportswear dealers like Size?

Nike Air Max Plus TN – Obsidian – Cool Grey

Though it appears that the same kind of geographical exclusivity governing recent Air Huarache releases is soon to be eliminated by way of US releases, there are still plenty more styles that Europe gets in greater numbers.  The Nike Air Max Plus, or as it is commonly known to Euro sneakerheads, the ‘Tuned 1′ is a prime example, this late 90s runner as deserving as any for regular appearances these days given how much of today’s technology and aesthetics were foreshadowed in its original construction.  This newest pair is ironically a Yankees colorway in Obisdian and Cool Grey with a vaguely pinstripe-ish abstract graphic on the upper that you can see in more detail below, but the only place you’ll see them in stores is at Foot Locker EU.

Nike Air Huarache – New Slate – Black

nike air huarache new slate black 01 570x425 Nike Air Huarache New Slate Black

A fourth Nike Air Huarache sporting the black sole/neutral upper combination makes its first appearance here today.  Each of the examples of this new template have been superb, so hopefully this is the last of the pairs that remain Euro exclusives (the OG ‘Scream Green’ coming up later this year would make a great reintroduction to the US market).  It’s also another of the pairs Huarache heads will be looking to import, with the careful mix of Slate Blue and a black sole coming together for some pure midnight funk.  Let us know how these compare to the original 1992 ‘Slate’ colorway once you’ve seen more below, and expect these at select EU NSW retailers shortly.

Nike Air Huarache “Sand”

nike air huarache sand 01 Nike Air Huarache Sand

A little over a month ago, Sneaker News showed you another European exclusive Nike Air Huarache that has since arrived at retailers.  That pair offers a subtle greyscale design with tonal suede upper and monotone sole.  It’s fascinating to see how this template can change dramatically with different neutral tones and just one single piece of material being changed, as this new ‘Sand’ Air Huarache makes only subtle changes relative the grey pair, but to great effect.  The final design gives more contrast but is every bit as wearable thanks to the soft brown suede up top, so check them out in more photos below, then cop a pair from top EU shops like Size?
