The success of Nike Sportswear’s Blazer line and particularly the VNTG drops has trickled down to its Class of ’72 lowtop peer, the Nike Bruin. The effect has been so pronounced that there’s even a brand new Bruin Mid finally on the market after all these years, but that new variety won’t stop the backbone of this whole trend. Treated once again to NSW’s lovingly weathered vintage treatment, the VNTG Bruin maximizes its classic vibe with a couple of super-nappy suede colorups that look like a Lakers break-out. These are slated to release next Friday, December 7th exclusively at Size? and you can see more shots after the jump below.

Caliroots had to move their Six Feet Down shop to a bigger location after just two years in business, the kind of rapid growth Nike has been known to create and facilitate during its world-beating forty-year run. Since 1972, the Swoosh has been synonymous with sport performance, and though the times and technologies have changed, the legendary Nike Blazer is still every bit the go-to sneaker that it was four decades ago. Completing the third leg of Size?’s exclusive ‘Geometric’ pack is this duo of Nike Toki Premiums. Following up on similar Air Max Light and All Court 2 Lows, these latest Tokis from Nike Sportswear break apart the ever popular red/brown harvest time look, making for two pairs with minimal mixing. Their key element is an unprecedented tessellation on the heel area, a first for this model and a far cry from the pale blue pairs this same store offered back in the spring. Returning in the original blue and red leather for the first time since its late ’70s heyday, one of Three Stripes’ famed City Series returns with a name that’d make you think it was crafted in the Pyrenees. The Nike Air Max 90 is one of those styles that just never gets old, and here’s a case where it gets a boost courtesy of other memorable moments in Nike Sportswear history. Featuring the novel use of patent leather on the AM90′s distinctive mid-panel along with plenty of neon to contrast the black/white palette, these Euro-exclusives come off as a higher-contrast take on Dave White’s Air Max 95 ‘Neon’-referencing 2005 collabo. It’s a colorway with which we’ve become quite comfortable but you really have to see the novel material distribution up close below to fully appreciate the finished design, then get yours exclusively at Foot Locker EU.

It was a little over a week ago, that in discussion of a Euro-exclusive Nike Air Max 97 featuring stripes from the Italian flag on its pull-loops, that Sneaker News reminded you of last year’s incredible Lux leather edition. It turns out there are more comparisons to be made, as another Italy-striped Air Max 97 has arrived exclusively at Foot Locker EU. This time, they stay rooted more closely to the OG ‘Silver Bullet’ look with just the aforementioned stripes providing a contrast (even the Swooshes are silver on this one). This metallic leather getup might not have the reflectivity of the originals but there’s still plenty of visual impact; will you reach across the Atlantic to get yourself a pair?
