nike kd 6 elite 2k14 amac customs 01 Nike KD 6 Elite 2K14 by AMAC Customs

The Nike LeBron 11 “2K14″ made plenty of noise despite only releasing a run of 2,014 pairs, but we hope it’s a tradition that will stick with the video game in years to come. AMAC Customs┬áhit the Nike KD 6 Elite with a matching 2K14 aesthetic, one that fits the MVP’s sixth silhouette particularly well, but this only leads us to wonder if Nike has similar plans with the KD 7 and the upcoming NBA 2K release, which features Durant on the cover. What do you think of the latest Nike KD 6 Elite custom? Be sure to check out more of AMAC Customs’ creation and stay tuned for more custom updates right here on Sneaker News.

james worthy new balance interview 01 James Worthy Speaks on the Return of His New Balance P740 Worthy Express

There’s no doubt that New Balance is a brand most associated with running sneakers. The Boston based company has been in the footwear business for over a hundred years now, with the majority of their output consisting of models meant for the track, street, or trail. That’s not to say that they don’t have heavy hitters in other categories though. One need look no further than their partnership with Lakers legend James Worthy for evidence of that. In 1985 “Big Game James” became the brand’s first ever signature athlete following a million-dollar deal that marked the brand’s biggest foray into the world of basketball footwear, with the New Balance P740 being the first James Worthy sneaker to release. The partnership landed them plenty of exposure – the UNC alum would go on to win three championships with the Lakers in the 80s and was even named the NBA Finals MVP thanks to an incredible performance in 1988.

Nike Flyknit LunarGlide 6

nike flyknit lunar glide 6 Nike Flyknit LunarGlide 6

The Nike Flyknit LunarGlide 6 will upgrade that freshly debuted runner with one of Nike’s most excited proprietary technologies. The result is a Flyknit model that’s sturdier than most that we’ve seen in the past, with a padding thicker than that found on the likes of the Racer or the Trainer. It’s also worth noting that this is an H20 repellant pair, so it’s possible that a little bit of the extra bulk is a result of that status (They’ve also got a reflective midsole and heel counter for added visibility in inclement weather). Get the first images for the brand new Flyknit Nike LunarGlide 6 after the break and stay tuned to Sneaker News to find out when they’ll be in stores.
