Since that 2012 launch, Nike Flyknit has gone on to be a massive success, and has quickly spilled out of the running range that it was originally introduced with.

Kevin Durant’s rise to the top of the basketball world has been an incredible show to witness over the last few years. His climb to the highest rank of league MVP can only be compared to the rare “sprite lightning”, which shoots upwards from the clouds in rapid fashion, and once the 2014 NBA season starts, we can only expect the OKC star to continue his climb. Continuing the theme of “lightning strikes”, Nike has fashioned this new KD 7 “Uprising” colorway with a hyper jade upper and accents of volt and photo blue, a proper mix that fits right in with the vivid colorways that we’ve seen so far. The sneakers release on Saturday, October 16th with an MSRP of $150, so check out official gallery and the video with Durant himself below.
