nike lab 1948 london Inside the New NikeLab Location at Nike 1948

The introduction of the NikeLab concept collapsed some of the scattered Nike Sportswear spots around the world into one group. Nike 1948 in London was one of the shops that saw the overhaul, and now has a new buildout reflecting the sort of peak performance and innovation product housed within. We understand that most of our readers might not be able to make it to that NSW outpust in Great Britain, but you can still check out the redesign thanks to this set of photos. Continue reading to get a look at the gallery and tell us in the comments if you’ve checked out any of the new NikeLab locations yet.

Nike LeBron 11 Low “Polka Dot” Sample

Red and Gold – that’s the colors of the Cleveland uniforms, right? This unreleased sample of the LeBron 11 Low isn’t likely to be an homage to the four-time MVP’s once former team (unless someone at the Swoosh brand knew about his intentions to return), but with the “La Maison Du LeBron” insole graphic, which can also be seen in the unreleased Championship sample, raises a few interesting questions. Was this shoe part of a planned Championship Pack, or is it part of a larger picture of sneaker releases? The phrase printed on the insole translates to “The House of LeBron”, but before you jump to any conclusions, we’ll wait to see if anything arises (there’s another LeBron 11 Low release coming later this month). Take a look at the detailed photos below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates on this potential LeBron 11 release.

jordan 6 infrared comparisons Comparing The Three Black/Red Air Jordan 6 Retros That Have Released Since 2010

The “Infrared” shade is one that’s constantly contested on sneaker websites, forums, and social media circles on the daily. That talk has flared up again for 2014 thanks to the resurgence of the Air Jordan 6, a shoe that we’ve already seen in its original white/infrared makeup this year, with the black/infrared still to come for November. Some will say it’s too pink, while others will claim that the lighter pink persuasion is actually truer to the original than anything we’ve had in recent years. Helping you figure out just how the black/red Jordan 6 has transformed in the past couple of years is this quick comparison, which pits the Air Jordan 6 “Black/Varsity Red” of 2010 against the Air Jordan 6 “Black/Infrared” from 2010 and the Air Jordan 6 “Black/Infrared” that’s coming for 2014. Which specific shade do you prefer? Tell us down in the comments after you see the full photos of this Jordan 6 comparison.

adidas c 10 detailed images 6 A Detailed Look at the adidas Originals C 10

adidas’ basketball designs are used to stepping off the court and into the streets – designs of yesteryear like the Metro Attitude and the Top Ten Hi can still be seen scattered around city streets years after the fact. The new adidas Originals C-10 embraces that adaptive DNA, skipping the step of actually crafting a court shoe and instead sending them straight to the lifestyle realm. The sneakers draw from the back catalog of hoops shoes in the adidas archive while also orienting them towards the sleek, modern lines found in automobile and architecture design. Find a full set of photos for the new adidas Originals C-10 below and watch for these sneakers to launch this August for just $90.

nathan van hook nike lunar tr1 interview 2 A Chat With Nike Training Design Director Nathan Van Hook

Earlier this year, Nike announced that Nathan Van Hook had made the switch from the burgeoning Sportswear category to the historic Nike Training, taking the decades-old lineage head on as the Design Director. Nate’s artful vision manifested instantly with some flashy models like the Free Trainer 5.0, simultaneously proving that no-frills gym shoes could be apt for the off-the-court hours.
