The Powerlines+ push continues with this brand new colorway that takes advantage of the aesthetic appeal of the Powerlines lacing system. Using the arrangement of the midfoot upper, a sick gradient effect is achieved, starting with a light yellow at the forefoot and the darkened gold at the rear, re-imagining the classic Air Max 95 gradient. Some nice details in the speckled midsole and the fuschia heel pull-tab and insole give these B&W a punchy upgrade. Finishline has these in stock, so head there after checking out the images below.

Should we take this as foreshadowing that the most recent Nike Dunk Low previewed here on Sneaker News is about to arrive at Nike Sportswear retailers? This new pair featuring the same materials and blocking pattern suggests the answer is yes as its combination of black and greys with red branding serves as a more aggressive alternative to that cooler design we previewed a couple weeks back. Another subtle twist that proves the classic BTTYS formula still has plenty of tricks up its sleeve, this new Dunk Low just arrived at NSW stores like Finish Line.

Two of the most renown retailers of our generation have teamed up in an exclusive partnership that aims to bring a choice selection of Finish Line footwear into 450 Macy’s locations and online. Each of these locations will be opened inside Macy’s department stores, but will operated by Finish Line. For decades, Macy’s has already carried it’s own selection of athletic footwear from Nike, adidas, Reebok, and several other brands, but never has it been considered a valuable source for the ‘sneakerhead’; will this partnership change to culture of Macy’s from “your grandfather’s sneaker spot” to a “legit sneaker source”? You can expect Finish Line pop-ups to begin opening this Spring 2013 season and complete the transplant by Fall of 2014; less licensing fees, Finish Line projects annual sales to increase by $250-350 million as well.

atmos’ rainbow striping was a perfect way to emphasize the Nike Free Powerlines+‘s key feature, and now we see it was but a glimpse at all the possible gradient options. Here’s another take on a fade effect for those signature ribbons, this time with a far subtler effect atop the black mesh base layer. Shades of grey remind us of the immortal Air Max 95 but a blood orange heel loop makes for a more aggressive finish than your typical ‘Neon’ setup. A sign that we’re just getting to know the Free Powerlines+, the latest rendition just arrived at Finish Line.

We were surprised when a Sport Red-bubbled Nike Air Max 2006 Leather arrived at retailers in May, but the following white/silver colorup made perfect sense as one of many such summertime looks. The latest pair also has some clear timing behind it, as the University of Oregon Ducks look arrives on the precipice of another season with top-5 preseason ranking expectations. You could also take the Speed Yellow hits literally, and then you’re a red lace away from imagining a world in which Usain Bolt and the rest of the dominant Jamaican sprinters rep the Swoosh. More photos await your click below, so let us know how these compare to the other Air Max 2006s we’ve seen this year as well as its 2012 younger brother, and grab yours today from Finish Line.

After a relatively quiet period following April’s AFC East pack, the Nike Trainer 1.3 Max has burst back onto the scene with a couple of explosive new colorways. Following up on a bold Miami Dolphins-like color scheme, this vaguely Seahawks-ish Blue Glow and Volt combo adds a darker dimension thanks to black on the midsole, branding and tongue. The overall effect is quite a bit more dramatic than some of the simpler colorways that’d released earlier, so will this be your first Trainer 1.3 Max purchase now that they’re available at Finish Line? Let us know after you’ve had a chance to see more photos below and stick with Sneaker News for more hot back to school choices.

You might expect the Nike Trainer 1.3 Max to be nearing the end of its product cycle as we recently eclipsed the one year anniversary of the dope NCAA pigskin-themed ‘Rivalry Pack’, but this new pair proves conclusively that there are plenty of dope styles yet to be issued. The Trainer 1.3 Max Breathe’s shimmering Fresh Water upper has a captivating aquatic look and adds in some ‘Dolphins’ for good measure with a Total Orange Max Air cushion. They’re another reminder that the first Nike x NFL season is soon to get underway, and you can use the rest of the summer to get in peak condition with these new Trainer 1.3s available now at Finish Line.

On Thursday, Sneaker News got the unique opportunity to give the Nike+Training/Basketball technology a whirl by completing a full wear-test session at the Rivington Court in NYC. However, this experience is not limited to us media folks, because Finish Line has teamed up with Nike at two select locations to offer up the Nike+ Training/Basketball Experience at two of its major locations. In a special event Friday morning (before the mall was open to the public), Finish Line extended an invitation to its most loyal customers to try out the new Nike+ technology after a thorough overview of the products, allowing the invitees to test out the new technology and run through the same drills we were treated to on Thursday afternoon. The Nike+ Experience is open to the public throughout the weekend at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, NY as well as its location in the Beverly Center in Los Angeles, CA, so if you’re in the area, be sure to stop by to test your athleticism against your friends or strangers. In addition, the Nike+ Training and Basketball Collection (Lunar Hyperdunk+, Lunar TR1+, Lunar Hyperworkout+) is available at all Finishline locations now.
