Jordan Flight 9 Max RST – Available

jordan flight 9 max available fnl Jordan Flight 9 Max RST Available

Surrounding a big retro release it’s inevitable that the colorway at hand leaks out to some of Jordan Brand’s peripheral models. So with the Air Jordan IV in White/Cement right around the corner, it’s no surprise to see a similar getup on the all new Jordan Flight 9 Max RST. Another of the colorways from the initial trio of releases for this 2012 Jumpman model grabs the old royal look championed by the recent Air Jordan X of the same name. That leaves the black pair as the odd man out, but such a clean look is never a bad choice regardless. Take a look at all three after the jump and grab the Jordan Flight 9 Max RST now from Finishline.

LIVESTRONG x Nike Free Run+ 2 LAF

livestrong nike free run 2 2 LIVESTRONG x Nike Free Run+ 2 LAF

In looking at a white and Varsity Maize Dunk High recently, we noted that their relationship to the iconic ‘Goldenrod’ getup is similar to the progression seen from Lance Armstrong’s LIVESTRONG collaborations with Nike over the years. What started as strictly black and yellow has evolved with whites, greys and the recent addition of Radio Shack reds and even a hint of green every now and again. This new Nike Free Run+ 2 adds blue to that list, keeping the LAF vibe going thanks tot the crisp white base layer and its interplay with the familiar V.Maize, even despite the preponderance of royal. When it’s all said and done, does anything top the simple two tone ‘BTTYS’ look for a Dunk high? We’ve seen a multitude of variations on the Dunks throughout the years but there is something to be said for the bare bones look. Anyway, we’ll let you duke that one out in the comments, but if you’re a fan of the simple combo and you have two X chromosomes then this one is for you. The lipstick red on the uppers pops up with a bit of a tumbled textured on the leather, contrasting to the smooth grey construction on the rest of the sneaker. Nike has been tuning up the WMNS releases lately with a bit of graphic flair. First it was the metallic spiral print that showed up on both Dunks and Air Force 1′s alike, and now the Uptowns are again getting some special treatment. Here the back end features a section that comes off looking like floral camo, with a wavy grid in the namesake ‘siren red’ laying over the top. That burning shade shows up again on the outsole and the ‘Nike Air’ branding throughout, giving this sneaker quite a bit of pop.
