With the ‘Fighter Jet’ One hitting back around NBA All-Star in February, it’s been quite a wait for the ‘Camo’ Nike Air Foamposite Pro. This Saturday June 8th‘s release will make it all worthwhile, though, as two of the most expressive though effectively neutral design elements in sneakers today combine into one extremely wearable and eye-catching summer blockbuster. Add in the gum sole and you’ve got the classic influence to make these an all-timer, and there’s a crisp new set of images after the jump to tide you over till the weekend.

The Nike Barkley Posite Max has been anything but a slow seller since the shoe first hit shelves back in February. If anything, it seems like the model has pulled a decent amount of attention away from the more traditional Foamposites. This weekend we’ll see how much attention they can grab from the greater swath of Nike releases, as the gamma blue and metallic silver joints shown will land on a day jam packed with everything to Nike SB Dunks to brand new Basketball stuff. Proving that will be the September arrival of the Nike Air Foamposite One “Sport Royal”, a pair that wouldn’t have felt too out of place on the feet of Penny way back when. Foamposites will continue to stray from the beaten path of solid colored uppers in 2013 thanks to pairs like the Nike Air Foamposite One “Weatherman” shown here. It’s worth mentioning that the sneakers don’t have too much in common color-wise with the Nike KD release that started that trend, but it’s hard not to make a connection between the two given the stormy, doppler-radar style graphics that are in place. Amongst them is the “Weatherman” Nike Air Foamposite One, a sneaker which seems like a vague tribute to Kevin Durant’s DMV home and their Foam obsession. The most recent emergence of the Nike Air Flightposite on Sneaker News was back in mid-late March when we showed you the funky “No-Zip” sample in that eccentric colorway that paired blue and neon with a elephant print film on the upper. It appears that the Flightposite in question will be joined by other funky colorways as we get a first look at a Pink/Black colorway of the Nike Air Flightposite No-Zip here; it utilizes a pink-to-black upwards gradient with a lava splatter around the shoe for quite a funky appearance that we’ve simply never seen on this popular basketball model. It takes quite a bit of curiosity to tear open a pair of sneakers just for the sake of seeing what’s inside. With that being said we’re glad someone’s doing it, as it’s always cool to see the little bits that are hidden underneath the surface of these trainers we spend so much on. This time the Nike Air Foamposite One “Fighter Jet” is put under the knife, although this pair is noted to not be an authentic Nike product (so it’s still interesting to see what’s behind some of these well-done fakes). Of course they’re not going to look any different than any other Nike Air Foamposite One underneath the skin but this is still a must-see if you’re a Foamposite fan.
