Sneakers grabbing inspiration from the Timberland-boot style isn’t anything necessarily new – just look at LeBron’s first signature sneaker to see the thought process behind turning a performance basketball shoe into a casual go-to. So it makes sense that with the popularity of the Nike Air Foamposite One, Nike Sportswear would take the durable aesthetic and breathe new life into the pair thanks to a premium dark brown leather collar to offset the seamless tan suede upper. The materials are rather similar to those “Triple Black” Foams arriving by month’s end. The Wheat colorway was initially slated for a September 6th release date, but was later taken down so we’re currently waiting on more info. Stick with us after the click for a better look and let us know if you’re excited about this Wheat Foamposite One by penning your thoughts in the comments section.

nike total foam max wheat Remember Nikes First Wheat Foamposites?

If you know your Foamposite history then you know that the upcoming Nike Air Foamposite One “Wheat” won’t be the first time that a sneaker of that sort wears that kind of colorway. Arriving first was this Nike Total Air Foamposite Max pair back in 2005. The shoes didn’t end up too close to the Timberland style aside from the color selected (You won’t find the boot laces or metal eyelets), but they definitely beat the Foam Ones to the punch. Refresh your memory on this pair of Wheat Foams by checking the extra shots below and then add them your collection courtesy of bond007_123 on eBay.

Before those “Wheat” Foamposite Ones show up, this pair will arrive. You can find them at Nike Sportswear retailers on August 29th and they’ll obviously carry the more modern pricetag of $250.
