Having a great success with their Canarinho Collection this spring, Nike Sportswear is mining for another Brazilian-exclusive. Where part one had three different Nike sneakers and some clothing, the second set of canary-inspired product is heavy on clothing. There is one pair of Nike Tennis Classics in a black and orange colourway that’d be perfect for this time of year. Turns out they’re set to drop next month, so click the jump below for more photos and stick with Sneaker News for updates. via SneakersBR

Even though Nike had us well prepared for this Halloween-themed onslaught, this ultraviolent backpack is still a nice surprise. It seems pretty clear that the latest Eugene backpack from Nike SB is a good match for the blood-on-white splattered mess that is this month’s Blazer High from the Beaverton skateboarding division. Nike SB Eugene bags have a huge variety of compartments for everything from notebooks to iPods, oh, and you can strap your deck on as well. Cop one today from RMK.

Aside from the official box, the reason sneakerheads who can fit into limited size early-release runs sometimes pass on the chance to cop Air Jordans early, is that they want the retro cards. The card pictured above that comes with the ‘Rising Suns’ goes with the original Air Jordan XII (12) poster design on the front and an updated overview of the series (1 – 2009, inclusive) on the back. A curious detail on this pair is the date, listed as ‘February 1997′. Since the ‘Rising Sun’ is an updated colourway, our best guess is that they chose this date for the Obsidian All Star Game joints because they are also separate from the four main regular season and playoff home/away colourways. In any case, retro cards are back and better than ever. Stick with Sneaker News for updates on all Air Jordan Retros. via NT

Stopping short of baseball’s pink uniforms, the NFL and Nike are adding touches of pink to the gridiron this month. Ben Roethlisberger and LaDanian Tomlinson will both rep the Think Pink cause when they meet at Heinz Field tonight. Pictured above is Tomlinson’s signature Nike LT 2.1 cleat in the bright colourway that will bring an extra spotlight to National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Expect to see plenty of other players sending out love to the fairer sex, including Carolina Panters running back DeAngelo Williams, whose mother Sandra Hill is currently in remission, the only remaining of the four sisters. Look for Williams when the Panthers get back to action next week and check out more photos of LT’s cleats and gloves after the jump. via SC

Extended hightop sneakers were the big trend of early 2009. Supra Skytops and Nike Air Yeezys were on everyone’s tongues and a lucky few’s feet. As we look forward to the cooler months, we’ve seen a new and equally striking trend emerging in the tendency toward mis-matched pairs of sneakers. It started with the outrageous SWAGGER Terminator and now we see a mashup between Japan’s atmos and Ubiq on the Amir hightop. This sneaker is the best of both worlds, adding asymmetrical accents to a black upper of achilles-eating height. The right shoe goes with purple and pink, the right with green and yellow. These and co-branded nylon jackets will drop next month at atmos.

Its design and world premier both New York originals, the Jeff Staple x New Balance M575J ‘White Pigeon’ has found a lovely home across the ocean. Spain’s LimitEDitions created an in-store installation that simulates a park so well, pigeons actually fly around freely inside. They navigate a display of the park scene, several colours of pigeon tees and, of course, the White Pigeon 575s. Take a look at more photos after the jump. via HB

The Nike Destroyers Pack has expanded. Previously a Dunk-only label, this year’s Destroyers Pack includes an Air Force 1 Mid. It’s black with a little white and traces of yellow. Two ‘AF-1′ New Era fitteds in black or yellow reinforce the Pittsburg Steelers-like colourway. Each of the Nike Dunk Highs in this pack also get the New Era treatment, including the ‘Ultraman’ black and red joints and the total orange pair that draws depth from perforations and a zany stitching pattern on the rear quarter/heel. Grab all three tomorrow at Nike Sportswear retailers including their flagship store at 21 Mercer St. in New York.
