With the Nike SB Dunk socks, it’s always been the other way around, but Omar Salazar’s actually beat his signature shoe to retail. Two colours of Nike SB Omar Salazar socks have released at select retailers, sneaking past the Nike SB Omar Salazar Pro Model onto hooks at local skateshops. The black pair almost looks like argyle, but looking at the neon yellow joints makes it more than obvious that the criss-crossing lines represent the Salazar’s Flywire-equipped heel. Get ready for the first Flywire equipped skate shoe ever and cop these socks from Flatspot.

Air Jordan 25th Anniversary UNC Jersey + Duffle Bag

The celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Jordan Brand will kick off this weekend, as the Air Jordan 1 25th Anniversary is set to release along with the Air Jordan 2010. In addition to the release of the shoes is a small selection of Silver Anniversary apparel and accessories – the Jordan UNC Jersey and a Silver Anniversary Duffle Bag. Both items are given the Silver treamtment; the UNC jersey is white with a silver trim with the famous Elephant print on the inside, while the Duffle, a collaboration between Jordan Brand and Cole Haan, features premium leather with matte silver hardware. Both the jersey and bag are very limited, with just 500 of each made. These are available today at MAJOR.

MAJOR – Air Max 95 Neon Inspired New Era

Streetwear is less about ‘matching’ than it has been in over a decade, but that doesn’t mean you wouldn’t wanna pair these up with your new Neons. That’s right, the Nike Air Max 95 Neon just popped up in Europe and Asia, plus there’s an Air Max Modular 95 SI on the way that will also match Major’s latest New Era 59/50. The key here is that, like the kicks, there’s a bunch of greys, so they kinda blend into the background. That is, until the lights come out and reflective 3M sections make you turn you into a chrome dome. This is a hot lid, right down to the stylized ‘major’ insignia on the back. via FRESHNESS

Casio G-Shock x Globe Destroyer Limited Edition Package

Plenty of sneakerheads collect Casio G-Shock watches and vice-versa, so this collaboration came about pretty organically. First seen back at their ‘Shock the World Tour 2009′ event last August, the Casio G-Shock x Globe Destroyer is finally ready for retail. A white, grey and gold pair of Destroyers (adidas Top Ten, anyone?) matches the DWS600GLB-7 G-Shock watch, and both will hit select retailers in April 2010.

Skate Mental x Nike SB Release Party @ Atlas

Skate Mental threw a party at San Mateo, CA’s Atlas skateshop to celebrate their collaboration with Nike SB. The bleached wood flooring and shelving of this sleek Bay Area boutique looked amazing next to the Skate Mental x Nike SB Dunk High Premium, while ‘Nike SM’ branded decks hung from the brick walls. Also notable by their appearances were Nike SB OG Brian Anderson and relative newcomer Stefan Janoski. Plenty more photos follow the jump. via HB

Patta x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star + Pro Leather 76 – Available

For anyone not intimately acquainted with modern ’street’ culture, it’d probably be easy to confuse Patta and Parra. You can start to see similarities beyond their nearly-identical European names, upon viewing the former’s entire collection for Converse. Let’s take the Lincoln/Kennedy-style analysis a step further: Parra, who designed a special Converse Chuck Taylor All Star earlier this year, also just dropped a Nike Air Maxim 1 and two matching varsity jackets. Meanwhile, Patta had designed two Converse hightops (quilted grey Chuck and burgundy corduroy Pro Leather 76) with a reversible varsity jacket to match or contrast either pair. These dropped in Europe back in September, but will be hitting select U.S. retailers like HUF tomorrow, November 14th.

Nike Sportswear Brazil – Canarinho Collection – November 2009

Having a great success with their Canarinho Collection this spring, Nike Sportswear is mining for another Brazilian-exclusive. Where part one had three different Nike sneakers and some clothing, the second set of canary-inspired product is heavy on clothing. There is one pair of Nike Tennis Classics in a black and orange colourway that’d be perfect for this time of year. Nike SB Eugene Backpack – Blood Splatter

Even though Nike had us well prepared for this Halloween-themed onslaught, this ultraviolent backpack is still a nice surprise. It seems pretty clear that the latest Eugene backpack from Nike SB is a good match for the blood-on-white splattered mess that is this month’s Blazer High from the Beaverton skateboarding division. Air Jordan Retro Cards Redesigned

Aside from the official box, the reason sneakerheads who can fit into limited size early-release runs sometimes pass on the chance to cop Air Jordans early, is that they want the retro cards. The card pictured above that comes with the ‘Rising Suns’ goes with the original Air Jordan XII (12) poster design on the front and an updated overview of the series (1 – 2009, inclusive) on the back. A curious detail on this pair is the date, listed as ‘February 1997′. Since the ‘Rising Sun’ is an updated colourway, our best guess is that they chose this date for the Obsidian All Star Game joints because they are also separate from the four main regular season and playoff home/away colourways.
