The Gourmet line has been one that has been debated by sneakerheads and Jordan fanatics since their inception and as much as someone loves to hate on the brand it only seems to help Gourmet. The brand has continued to drive it’s sneaker business on the Jordan signature shoe’s silhouette mixed with a classic outsole and canvas for the upper. Now with the addition of some brighter colors, the Gourmet Summer 08 lineup of Cease and Desisto shoes is sure to be a hit. These have hit a select number of retailers and will be hitting more retailers in the upcoming weeks. via CtotheJL

Gourmet was introduced to sneakerheads last year around the US, and although some feel that it is a blatant slap to the face to Jordan’s, a lot of sneakerheads have picked up on these canvas and gum sole “Jordan-esque” shoes that give a bit of a casual look to a number of popular Jordan silhouettes. Love them or hate them, Gourmet is back with their Spring collection featuring two new models that draw inspiration from the Air Jordan XII and Air Jordan XIII. The Santo takes from the XII whereas the Diablo borrows from the XIII, but both come with an all canvas upper and gum sole, identical to the first two pairs released by Gourmet. In addition, this season Gourmet uses some new colros to spice up things including, “Amethyst (Purple), Interblue, Basil, and Scarlet, as well as keeping the more traditional colors like Black and Eggshell”. via Commonwealth
