Halloween in mid-November? Anything’s possible at Foot Locker’s House of Hoops, where a concept catering to hardcore basketball fans and sneakerheads has now expanded to most of the largest US cities. The latest HoH exclusive will have you remembering all the fun you had dressing up in costumes in late October, this new black and Max Orange Nike Zoom Rookie about as close as the Air Penny super-hybrid can get to a jack-o-lantern. They’ll light up the morning as malls across the country open when “Kicksmas comes early” to all House of Hoops locations right around the time the early bird lap-walking crew calls it a day.

Last week, the Nike Zoom Rookie LWP in the Binary Blue colorway hit stores, marking the official wide launch of the latest Air Penny shoe. Going back to the slightly more limited distribution is the ‘Max Orange’ colorway of the Zoom Rookie that we showed you in September; the quote the very first comment left by a Sneaker News reader, “These are *expletive* gorgeous”. Well, you can finally get these on your feet because these are currently scheduled to drop this Friday, November 18th, exclusively at Foot Locker House of Hoops retailers. Must-have for you, or are you saving up for the White/Black colorway in late December? An extra shot awaits you below so take a look and let us know what you think. Thanks to OnlyMJsCollected.

Last week Sneaker News gave you a look at a Halloween-esque colorway of the Nike Air Max Uptempo 2 – a Max Orange/Black colorway that was more exhilarating than it was spooky. Featuring the electrified Max Orange on the upper with a black mesh layer and midsole, this new colorway of the mid-90′s Nike Basketball stud is an instant head-turner – and who says you HAVE to wear these for Halloween? It’s got that Highlighter Pack theme to it, and perhaps this is a sign for more neon-ish colorways of Nike Retros arriving in the near future. Like what you see? These are now available at your local House of Hoops, but you can always cop them at the convenience of your computer by getting one now from godblesswkadv on eBay.

As we approach the end of October, NBA Basketball, despite still being a big question mark, is still on our minds. The recent South Florida All-Star Classic reminded us why NBA basketball is the most exciting professional sport to watch, and even the super-realistic NBA 2K12 video game has given us more reason that the 2011-12 NBA Season is worth the wait. Need even more of an NBA fix? Nike Las Vegas just dropped a whole set of Nike Basketball PEs, like the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 for Russell Westbrook, the Nike Air Max Sweep Thru for Amare Stoudemire, and the Nike Air Max Hyperdunk 2011 for Chris Bosh. Check out all of what’s available right now and check with your NikeTown soon for availability.

Pretty much nobody looked good against the unprecedented collection of elite basketball talent we’ve come to know as the Dream Team, but there was indeed one international squad who stood out amongst the pretenders. The Lithuanian national basketball team captured an unexpected bronze medal at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, and just as much attention was given to their Grateful Dead-inspired tie-dye garb. Ballers including Arvydas Sabonis wore adidas back in those days, but over the past few years, the yellow, green and red has been outfitted by Nike Basketball to the tune of some eye-catching designs like the one pictured above. The Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011‘Lithuania’ doesn’t have the speckling that abounded on their Air Max Hyperize from a couple years ago, but its high-contrast colorway is still among the most easily identifyable in all of sport. Click through to see some additional angles and look for these at Foot Locker’s House of Hoops specialty locations.

On the heels of our first look at an intense all-Varsity Red Air Max2 CB ’94 comes another House of Hoops exclusive from Nike Sportswear representing a midly controversial chapter in the history of ’90s basketball. The Nike Air Bakin’ pictured above features a pinkish red shade only on select accents but is linked with the CB ’94s thanks to the use of a ripstop nylon underlay. On the Air Bakins, the blue base layer stands out strongly, peeking through the vented black overlay for a finished product not all too dissimilar from the Air Jordan 1 Phat and Trunner LX ’11 grade school/girls drops we showed you earlier this morning. These will prove much more difficult to procure, so be sure to stick with Sneaker News for updates and in the meantime, check out some more images after the jump. via Outnumber

Charles Barkley was the face of the Nike Force during the 90′s, and what a fitting face it was. The foul-mouthed power forward with a penchant for low-post scoring, rebounding, and getting under the skin of oppoents rocked some of the fiercest looking kicks in Nike history, like the Nike Air Max2 CB ’94. It’s due up for a remastering in the form of the Nike Air Max Barkley (a Hyperfuse-uppered version of the CB ’94), but before we reach that point, check out this tonal varsity red colorway; it features rugged rip-stop nylon on the upper, with white contrast stitching along the synthetic leather giving an added level of military-style appeal. These are a House of Hoops exclusive so head there to check ‘em out in person, but do so after you peep the detailed shots after the jump. via LTD-Online.
