Nike Air has come a long way since it first opened up in Air Max form with the ’87 original. To celebrate the length and breadth of Air Max, Nike Running will release the Nike Air Max 1 2013 QS in a special Desert Yellow colorway paying tribute to USA Track & Field; this Quickstrike release features the Air Max 1 build on a Fuse/Mesh upper and the re-engineered Air Max unit found on the Air Max+ 2013. This isn’t the first time the Air Max 1 got this sort of treatment, as the Air Max 1 360 (an Air Max 1 with an Air Max 360 cushion) was unveiled in 2006 upon the debut of the first full-length Air unit. A gallery of this stunning release is just below, so take a look and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates as this interesting new model is part of a special pack!

The Nike Air Force 1 High ‘Duckboot’ has been a successful AF1 variant since its debut about two years ago, particularly in areas prone to sneaker-threatening foul weather. That’s just about everywhere this time of year, so Nike Sportswear went the extra mile and created a new design that you can’t miss. This new black and Dark Field Brown AF1 Duckboot at first appears similar to earlier editions like the Light British Tan makeup, but along with a slightly revised blocking pattern, this pair’s forefoot adds a reflective 3M treatment that makes these a must-have from NSW retailers like Extra Butter.

With the Air Jordan retro category marching out in 2013 in plenty of original and more straightforward looks, it seems as if the burden of bombastic colorways is getting shifted to the Jordan Spiz’ike. Case in point is this crazy combo which pairs up blue, yellow, some varying degrees of grey, and a little bit of metallic green on the side straps. Continue on with us after the jump to get all the angles and let us know your thoughts on this Jordan Spiz’ike in the comments section.

The already pretty slick looking Nike Barkley Posite Max just got even more exciting. This latest set of photos shows that the sneakers will also be packing a glow in the dark sole on the bottom, with the iridescent green silhouetting the wavy “Not a Role Model” script that runs along the outsoles. So far the only sample available for your viewing pleasure is this one that centers around the iconic ‘Eggplant’ shade from the Foamposite line. Check out some top notch pics after the jump and keep your eyes on Sneaker News for release info.

Air Force 1 boot variations are among Nike Sportswear’s most popular hybrid styles, because they take the familiar Uptown’s personality and pollinate it with a special blend courtesy of classic menswear. But we’ve only been scratching the surface of what’s possible, as made evident by these new Nike Air Force 1 Duckboot iD samples from Tokyo’s Nike Harajuku. These push the envelope with bold ripstop nylon colors contrasted by simple base tones, and the result might be good enough to have you wishing for nasty weather. Get a look at some samples after the jump and you can design your own AF1 Duckboot available now as the December Air Force 1 offering on Nike iD.
