If you follow Sneaker News regularly, you might have noticed that Korean retailer Kasina popped up in the sneakerhead scene by offering early releases of some eagerly-anticipated heat earlier this year. Then again, if you happen to be from Korea, you know that they’ve been running the premium kicks game over there for ages. Their cherry red mix of patent leather and nylon looks pretty dope with a Tiffany range of accents. This eleventh hour debut puts them in good company, as long-time Reebok collaborator atmos revealed their nightmarish speckled design. Nike Sportswear Terminator High Premium ‘NOISE’ – White – Metallic Silver

A black pair of these popped up in the twelfth issue of Japan’s Shoes Master magazine, and now Hiroshi Fujiwara’s ‘NOISE’ concept has graced a white Nike Terminator High. These are a model of simplicity: all white full grain leather, white stitching and a Swoosh outline of perforations. This simple canvas lets the metallic silver section of heel shine, including the operative print in place of the typical block lettered branding. Uniform Experiment for SOPH x Nike SFB (Special Forces Boot) @ 21 Mercer St.

Nike’s SFB (Special Forces Boot) has to be near the top of any list of the most bizarre releases this year. It’s a kevlar reinforced, Free-soled super-hightop ready for war, but somehow Uniform Experiment was able to make them totally wearable for the streets. Not that dudes aren’t wearing the SFBs to catch a quick stare, but this all-black midtop ‘chukka’ should work with pretty much any kind of outfit you throw its way. The Hiroshi Fujiwara-designed limited edition boots are available now at Nike Sportswear’s 21 Mercer St. location in New York.

UNDFTD x Stussy x Hectic x New Balance MT580 ‘SMU’

The last time this trio got together and designed a New Balance 580 runner, the results were quite flashy. The Full Metallic Jacket Pack went hard in three shiny leather models ready for war, but their recent teamwork has resulted in something more in line with the general tendency toward ‘maturity’ in streetwear. The Undefeated x Stussy x Hectic x New Balance MT580 ‘SMU’ has a name more complex than its relatively simple design. They borrow the black/white/gum palette we’ve seen several times this year, but send it in a totally different direction with the purple lining. Reebok Pump Omni Lite + Court Victory Pump – Velour Pack

Nike is pretty tight with House of Hoops, so it wouldn’t be all that shocking if atmos and Reebok ended up doing something similar. As it stands, there’s no store in the works, just a long line of Japanese-exclusive collaborations. This duo takes on a velour upper that either looks like it’s tie-dyed or maybe it’s a bowling ball. The Pump Omni Lite is in purple/white and the Court Victory Pump comes in bright green. Both are available at, you guessed it, atmos.

Mighty Crown x Nike Dynasty High Premium – Available

Yokohama, Japan’s annual Mighty Crown Reggae Festival is 15 this year, but that still makes it about half the age of Nike’s nearly thirty year old Dynasty High basketball sneaker. It makes sense, then, to see alot of different design elements from across the past few decades on this collaboration. This black and red hightop has a glittery gold section just below the ankle collar, punctuated at the top by a gold-on-red studded ankle strap. Throw in some tonal black Hufquake on the midsole and you’ve got quite alot of the last three decades right there on one shoe. Cop yours today from Kix-Files.

If Soulja Boy can make a ’song’ out of just the two words ‘Gucci’ and ‘bandana’, why can’t Reebok double up on their Gucci-inspired swag? Hop up out the bed and take a look at the latest Reebok Ex-O-Fit Hi with forest green and red accents. Whereas the earlier mita-designed pair went with a black base plus white framing, these joints opt for a mix of grey and white that has this pair actually looking like some of Gucci’s earlier sneaker work.
