Among this weekend’s significant sneaker releases is one that might not make it to stateside Nike Sportswear retailers. atmos Tokyo is combining camouflage patterns and animal prints on a couple of exciting Nike Air Max 1 collabs, and one of the designs was just too timely to keep on a single release. A burgeoning Japanese sneaker brand whose name doesn’t quite match what they’ve been doing since last April’s first releases, Losers was started by designer Sneaker Wolf who’d previously collaborated with major labels like Nike and New Balance. This label’s signature piece, the skate-influenced Losers Uneaker has just issued a new camouflage colorway whose extremely aggressive sharkstooth pattern rivals the most militaristic customs from SBTG/RoyaleFam. Let us know how these compare to those, the bevvy of camo kicks on the market right now and even something like Vans to which this design seems to have serious ties, then grab yours before they’re gone from Up There

Kazuki Kuraishi has been relatively quiet in recent months after partnering with adidas Originals with some regularity over the past few years. Today we get a better sense of what to expect from the only models he has previewed for 2013 to this point, which were created in conjunction with British knitwear specialists CASH CA. Included in this set are three classics, the adidas Originals Campus 80, Torsion Allegras and the 380-inspired ZX ADV runner, all of which feature the ’84-Lab.’ designation that suggests these are a spiritual succession with Kazuki’s FA11 The Soloist. teamup (punctuation included). Let us know which looks best after you’ve seen more below and stick with Sneaker News for release info on what might end up as a No-74 Berlin exclusive.

The latest New Balance collaboration to arrive on the scene is another in a long line of partnerships with Japanese fashion labels. This time it’s a women’s brand, as the Jeanasis x New Balance 996 arrives in a colorway Nike in particular has utilized for plenty of mens, ladies and kids sneakers over the years. The black upper mixes suede, mesh and leather with green and white accents, includes the ‘flag’ lace tag we’ve seen on other Far East NB collabs. There’s another pair mixing in a few grey tones along with pink accents that might be coming along soon, because select ladies sizes of the Jenasis WR996JEB are available now from Euro shops like Hanon.

The Converse Jack Purcell has always been a low-key favorite, but it’s been very quiet in recent months for such a foundational design. Here’s some of the ‘good’ quiet, a couple of classy Jack Purcells crafted in chambray cotton weaves. These blue and white kicks follow up on last spring’s chambray Chuck Taylors and a pair of Purcell LTTs that hit in 2011 with a multicolor layout. Let us know if these more traditional builds are more your cup of tea after the jump and get in touch with your overseas connects to get a pair from select Japanese retailers.

More and more of the best Japanese New Balance collaborations are making their way into US sneaker closets by way of select stateside retailers. The latest import is a superb suede and mesh pairing that released on the other side of the world just before the end of 2012, the Oshman’s x mita sneakers x New Balance 574 ‘Mojito’. This mint green-dominant design features a leaf ‘dubrae’ in honor of the muddled cocktail from which it takes its name and colors, but one might argue that it’s the unorthodox mix with brown at the heel and a gum sole that really makes this design. Have a closer look below and get ready to hit up the usual suspects, because these have arrived in America and should see further spot releases in the immediate future.
