Nike Court Force – White – Anthracite – Wolf Grey

Nike Sportswear has expanded its casually-oriented lifestyle offerings alongside the ever-growing array of retro runs, leaving a couple of former staples lacking the same kind of attention they got, say, five years ago.  Much like the Vandal, the Nike Court Force High has been relegated to occasional playing time in recent years, but this new white and grey getup proves there’s still plenty of life left in this hightop classic.  There’s never been a Court Force quite like this before but they feel familiar with colorblocking that accentuates the ’80s-era lines on this immediate predecessor to the recently revived Sky Force ’88.  These are another JD Sports exclusive Court Force colorway; would you be interested in a wider variety if they were readily available stateside?

Nike Air Classic BW – White – Black – Blue

October 16th, 2011 by | 2 comments

nike air classic bw white black blue jd 07 Nike Air Classic BW White Black Blue

The Air Classic ‘Big Window’ is one of those overlooked Nike Air Max models in the United States, but gets a nice amount of attention overseas (as do other non year-designated Air Maxes). Of course, the States has seen some great releases, like the Stash x Nike Air Classic BW from the Artist Series (some regard it as one of the greatest Nike collaborations of all time), and of course, the original Persian Violet colorway. Not exactly an attempt to ‘rub it in’, but JDSports has another exclusive release of a Euro-speciality – the Nike Air Classic BW in this new white/black/blue colorway (*Insert rage-face meme here*). More shots available for you below, so take a look and let us know what you think.

Nike Air Classic BW – White – Gold Gradient

nike classic bw white gold jd 07 Nike Air Classic BW White Gold Gradient

Of the entire Nike Air Max running legacy, the Air Max 95 is easily the design most strongly associated with the use of gradients.  But here’s proof that Nike Sportswear can just as easily fade colors into one another on a different silhouette, this time on the classic Air Max IV.  Better known these days as the Nike Air Classic BW, this new edition strays from the classic ‘Persian Violet’ colorblocking template to employ an all-white leather base.  This choice seems genius paired with golden accents, including a novel approach to the Big Window’s frame that moves from white to gold across a silvery midpoint.  Click on through so you can see how this pristine BW looks from a variety of angles and grab yours from an NSW retailer like JD Sports.

Nike Air Max 95 ‘Halloween’

nike air max 95 halloween 07 Nike Air Max 95 Halloween

It’s been a great year for the Nike Air Max 95 thus far; the new Nike iD options, the return of OG-inspired colorways, even that kids-only Mowabb-inspired colorway confirmed the AM95 as one of the most popular sneakers of all-time. For the month of October, this Halloween-inspired colorway of Black/Anthracite/Orange will hit Nike retailers overseas like JDSports; it’s got that familiar Black/Grey gradient but with a black mesh upper (flip it with white and you’ve got a colorway similar to the Mandarin Orange that dropped not long ago). Are these fresh enough to make you want to cop a pair? Check out the extra shots below and let us know what you think.

Nike Dunk High – Black – Grey Toe

nike dunk high grey toe black jd 07 Nike Dunk High Black Grey Toe

Nike Sportswear has released several Dunks this year in both heights that employ high-contrast color and material blocking from forefoot to rear.  A couple of these have managed to stick out from the pack thanks to their use of plastic eyelet holes, one of the key features on this new subdued Nike Dunk High.  These grey and black Dunk Highs offer just enough ruggedness that they’d likely be a hit with Oakland Raiders fans.  If you’re looking to add these to supplement your roster, click through to see more angles and then grab a pair from the only place that has this colorway: JD Sports.

Nike Dunk High – Midnight Fog – White

The Dunk Low SB ‘Space Jam’ was among 2011′s biggest sneaker releases, but when it came time to reprise the most recent Air Jordan XI Retro release, Nike Sportswear took the reigns from the skate division.  The result was this new Nike Dunk High in Midnight Fog, a pair that because of its tonal grey nylon and suede upper, was previewed as a ‘Cool Grey’ edition.  This shade is a bit darker in most lighting, though that doesn’t alter the fact that a grey sneaker with white laces is probably the single most versatile look you could find.  Click through to see some more angles and look for these at NSW dealers like Size?.

Nike Air Max 95 – Black – Iguana

August 16th, 2011 by | 2 comments

nike air max 95 black iguana 07 Nike Air Max 95 Black Iguana

The newest Nike Air Max 95 is exactly like the OG Neon colorway except for that instead of a gradient from white to black through grey, they’re all black, that the typically 3M-reflective tier is now patent leather, there’s no neon and only just a bit of Iguana brown on the tongue and heel.  OK, so they’re actually nothing like the original AM95 ‘grey-dient’ that seems perfect with practically every accent shade, but this blacked out edition is a nice twist that should make a comfy go-to when you need a dark match.  Click through for more angles and get ‘em from a Nike Sportswear retailer like JD Sports.

Nike Air Force 1 Low – Obsidian – Blue Glow

nike air force 1 low obsidian blue glow 07 Nike Air Force 1 Low Obsidian Blue Glow

Thank you, Nike Air Force 1, for your nearly three decades of service (anyone else expecting big things from Nike Sportswear next year?).  You’ve blessed us with superior performance in big games, offered countless colorways, materials and themes and become the world’s most widely-issued sneaker, and you still have even more up your sleeves?!  Check out this new AF1 Low in a novel colorblocking pattern that has the tongue, eyestay, heeltab and outsole cast in Blue Glow while the entire remainder comes up Obsidian.  The tonal blue look feels even fresher when paired with a new tongue tag, so hopefully this new release from JD Sports is a sign of things to come from NSW.
