Big things are due up for the Nike Air Max 95 in 2013, with ‘Engineered Mesh‘ being introduced in various colorways and the iconic original known as ‘Neon’ hitting stores beginning Spring 2013. However, there are still plenty of classic-built Air Max 95 newbies on the way, like this Black/Grey/Team Red colorway with a fine synthetic leather inner lining. These should remind you of the ‘Chili’ joints from ’04, but with black on the lace-hoops instead of Chili Red. Have we forgotten that 2012 is indeed the 25th Anniversary of the Nike Air Max 1? A celebration of OG re-issues hasn’t happened yet, with the exception of the Hyperfuse ‘Sport Blue’, but we aren’t hearing any complaints especially considering the in-house colorists have done such an amazing job. This latest colorway combines Dark Obsidian with Grey for that ‘Yankees’ flavor, but the hint of orange on the outsole and Max Air unit brings that to a screeching halt. More angles of this AM1 is right ahead, so flip through the gallery and cop a pair now at JDSports.

Has any sneaker ever enjoyed a more impressive anniversary year than the Air Force 1 in its 30th?  Scratch that — has any individual sneaker ever had a bigger single year than the AF1 in 2012?  Only recent Kobe and LeBron signatures can rival the sheer number of both overall and premium releases, and while those performance marvels are also just as collectible as the Uptown catalog, the AF1 displays versatility beyond the wildest dreams of most modern Nike Basketball builds.  And while this latest Nike Air Force 1 High isn’t a boot, Hyperfuse or Foamposite hybrid, a member of the XXX capsule or a Year of the Dragon drop, its cool mix of greys and royal along with optional green laces make for a can’t miss at JD Sports.
