“King’s Pride” Nike LeBron Soldier 7

April 22nd, 2014 by | No comments

kings pride nike zoom lebron soldier 7 1 Kings Pride Nike LeBron Soldier 7

The Nike Zoom Soldier 7 has been making headlines this month with a colorway that remixes one of the more popular themes from this year’s LeBron James flagship shoe.  This ‘Kings Pride’ Soldier VII adopts a much different approach than the LeBron 11 by that same name, opting for an almost entirely white upper with yellow accents, speckled black Swooshes and that now familiar palm frond print on the strap and ankle.  This is right up there with the ‘Power Couple’ pair and a select few other pairs among the most beautiful LeBron Soldier sneakers to date, and they’re up for grabs now at select Nike hoop shoe suppliers like Finish Line.

adidas Originals ZX9000 “Negative”

One thing at which adidas Originals has done better over the past two or so years relative to the decade or so before that is emphasizing their heritage, particularly with OG colorways returning on obscure classics.  They’re also willing to play around with the OGs we see here on the adidas ZX 9000 in an almost-original makeup.  It’s ‘almost’ an OG but also a totally new style for this pair, as it equates to a part-for-part color inversion of the 1988 ‘Hydra’ edition that just returned not too long back.  Click in to get a closer view of the positive effect of raising the ZX9000 to the power of -1, then cop yours at shops like Politics.

Did Nike SB ever do a better job of the 4/20 sneaker release than on the Nike SB Dunk “Skunk” High? That special release had them looking extra fuzzy and was pretty brazen with its tribute thanks to the skunk graphic that showed up for the insole. Riffing off that release is this Nike SB Dunk Low creation from Dank Customs, which goes the recent Nike SB route of switching up the height on a classic pair. Get a look at the results after the break and then tell us in the comments if you’d like to see this sort of pair hit retail.

Ray Allen just gave away a worn Air Jordan XX8 SE, and with the XX9 right around the corner, we can’t help but wonder what’s in store for the all-time three-point shooter. So as the NBA’s elite prepare to potentially shed the 28th Air Jordan, the unshrouded version is stripping off its colors for this elegant new drop. Mixing Pure Platinum and white up top with black accents, this latest XX8 SE has the look of a regular season home shoe for Michael Jordan, but is right now during this first week of NBA Playoff action available from spots like Oneness.

What many at the start of the season would have predicted to be a release in celebration of at the very least a berth in the 2014 NBA Playoffs in this Nike Air Force 1 Low has become something of a consolation prize. It works pretty well in that regard, because the combination of white patent leather with Game Royal accents and Turf Orange embroidery is enough to make you smile. It’ll be out on Saturday at select Nike Sportswear stores, so click in for a closer view and let us know if you plan to cop this weekend at Oneness.
