Nike KD Trey 5 II “OKC Away”

While we’ll probably never see the Nike KD Trey 5 II rise to the heights of the Zoom Soldier series in the LeBron line (for the most part KD has been wearing his seventh signature throughout the offseason and practices despite the UA scare) that doesn’t mean that the shoe can’t don a PE like Oklahoma City Thunder colorway. The latest pair dons an Away look, ditching the translucent icy outsole seen on past models like the “China” variety for a solid Photo Blue/Orange aesthetic. What do you think of the latest Kevin Durant pair? Stick with us after the click for more images and stay tuned for a release date right here on Sneaker News.

Nike KD 7 “Uprising”

nike kd 7 uprising official nike images 01 Nike KD 7 Uprising

Kevin Durant’s rise to the top of the basketball world has been an incredible show to witness over the last few years. His climb to the highest rank of league MVP can only be compared to the rare “sprite lightning”, which shoots upwards from the clouds in rapid fashion, and once the 2014 NBA season starts, we can only expect the OKC star to continue his climb. Continuing the theme of “lightning strikes”, Nike has fashioned this new KD 7 “Uprising” colorway with a hyper jade upper and accents of volt and photo blue, a proper mix that fits right in with the vivid colorways that we’ve seen so far. The sneakers release on Saturday, October 16th with an MSRP of $150, so check out official gallery and the video with Durant himself below.

Kevin Durant’s takedown line of Nike Basketball sneakers is going to be in trouble if the man ever decides to change his Twitter handle. Fortunately he hasn’t yet though, and so the Nike KD 5 Trey II lives on. There is more coming in October for this sneaker – the red/mint/volt/black pair that you see here should be in stores on October 25th (Although the release dates for these usually aren’t as firm as those for actual KD 7s and the like). You can see more imagery on this Nike Kevin Durant sneaker below and then you can get your pair a little early from on eBay.

The booming success of the KD line is one reason why Nike ponied up all that cash to retain the OKC superstar as a representative. If you need an idea of why the KD signature series was a safe bet for Nike to place, check out these samples that were spotted at the OK Soles sneaker show (during which KD even made an appearance). In this preview of KD shoes, we get a first look at a Black/Gum colorway of the KD 7 as well as additional views at the “Pony Hair”, “USA Gold”, “Red Python”, and other KD 6 Elites that we’ve never seen before. Nike KD 7 “Good Apples” – Release Reminder

October 3rd, 2014 by | No comments

nike kd 7 good apples release reminder 01 570x399 Nike KD 7 Good Apples Release Reminder

The Nike KD 7 “Good Apples” will release tomorrow, October 4th, 2014. Sure, Kevin Durant might go by The Baddest, but his latest Nike KD 7 is all good. Initially nicknamed the KD 7 “Bad Apple”, the monicker switched up to the lighter side of things in a metaphor about picking good apples (i.e. KD’s efficient shot selection on court and decision making throughout life). With an ominous upper aided by an Action Red and Medium Mint throughout, the Bad Apple name might have made more sense for this pair given the aesthetic, but we doubt that will get in the way of people snatching these away from store shelves. As always, we have more images of the latest KD release courtesy of Philadelphia shop Ubiq and see if you can find your size early on eBay.

away nike kd 7 Nike KD 7 Away Release Date

The KD 7 “Away” will release on October 31st, 2014. The colorway is set to be the first of the Nike KD 7 pairs to get away from the story telling approach, and instead wears a straightforward Oklahoma City Thunder palette. They’re not without their flair though – the bottom half wears just a little bit of speckling towards the heel. You can continue reading to get a better look at this upcoming pair of Kevin Durant sneakers and make sure to keep it locked on Sneaker News for regular release date updates.
