So far, whatever’s come out of the Nike Kobe 8 colorway factory has been a hit, with a Christmas and Snake Engineered Mesh uppers offering up some unique stylings not seen in any other Nike shoe. This latest GS size borrows a bit from the book of LeBron as we get a ‘South Beach‘ style mix of Neo Turquoise, Electric Yellow, and Dynamic Pink for a rather punchy colorway. These are indeed a boys size, but we suspect them to be a hit with the ladies and girls, don’t you think? Extra shots below, so take a look and head to Nikestore for a direct purchase.

Let’s hear it, Sneaker News readers: do you think the Nike KD V is better than the IV, just as good, or somewhat of a disappointment? It’s hard to follow up the crazy success of the KD IV, and while some KD V releases have been eye-catching at the very least, that energy surrounding the shoe has yet to be recaptured. There hasn’t been a Nerf or Weatherman to give these that level of hype, but perhaps its the slow and steady crawl that’ll make these the ultimate sleeper hits of the year. We have a first look at a new colorway in a GS size that’s definitely worth your attention, so check out the images below and head on over to the entire listing from steptorun on eBay.

Expect plenty more where this came from over the next month, as we’ve crossed the four-week threshold between here and Valentine’s Day 2013. The latest revelation from Nike Sportswear in line with the romantic holiday utilizes the red shade of the season in conjunction with a bit of pink for an appropriately sweet release. The Nike Air Force 1 Mid GS also has a heart on the tongue tag (with more on the insoles), but the most eye-catching element has to be the glossy, texturized Hyper Red overlay that you can see in greater detail below before buying at SNS.

Mint, teal, turquoise and similar shades in the blue-green range are peculiar in that they all convey a certain level of neutrality, but require more selectivity when pairing with other greens than blues or other hues. Here’s a great example of how to do it right on the Nike Air Max 90 for kids, a mostly black design that features accents roughly split between Neo Turquoise and Volt (whose yellow lean makes all the difference as compared to an equally energetic shade like Green Spark). Their successful pairing is most evident on the two-tone ‘AIR MAX’ badge, so click through for more details, then grab yours from Nike Sportswear stockists like SNS.

While Jordan Brand brings back an original colorway and ‘Nike Air’ branding on the first sneaker of Mike’s illustrious career, the Air Jordan 1 Phat GS continues to provide fresh new looks for kids and ladies. This latest pair could fit both groups, its ‘Aqua’-ish makeup made all the more unique thanks to a holographic material on the side panels that ties in the purple and aqua shades plus a whole bunch more color. Click through to get a sense of the effect from more photos and grab yours at retailers like Extra Butter.

Nike Skateboarding’s P-Rod line is everywhere you look these days. Paul Rodriguez is one of the biggest names in griptape, and especially popular with younger riders, who’ve been blessed with smaller sizes so they can start shredding early. The Nike Paul Rodriguez 6 GS comes forth with a second black suede design, and while not quite as overtly aggressive as the red-accented edition, one could argue that this yellow and orange-red accompaniment is a bit more energetic. Perfect for young skaters in both style and function, the P-Rod 6 GS is available at shops like Premier.

Regarding what to cop your Air Jordan-loving significant other for the mid-February holiday, Jordan Brand has made it rather clear: these. Releasing this Spring 2013 season is the Air Jordan V featuring the heartfelt red/pink colorway with the ‘For the Love of the Game’ basketball logo embroidered on the heel. It’s interesting to see that this logo, created to represent Michael Jordan’s love of basketball, has now transformed itself into a staple of GS-sized Jays that have released around the Valentine’s Day occasion.

Sneaker News just mentioned that the Nike Dunk Low for kids is one of NSW’s longest running Chinese New Year traditions, and now we see that next year’s iteration has at least two different styles on tap. This second ‘Year of the Snake’ Dunk Low GS features fewer scales than its white/black counterpart, but the mix of silver and gold tones on this one might actually be a bit more eye-catching overall. Stick with Sneaker News to see what else Nike Sportswear will offer in honor of the serpentine celebration and let us know which YOTS Dunks are better after you’ve seen these up-close below.
