Air Jordan 11 GS – Aqua – Volt

Based on Twitter conversations that we have had with you guys about the “Aqua Safaris”, it seems like many of you, despite the fact that these are not being made in men’s sizes, are getting fairly excited for these Jordan 11 Lows to drop. Well, today we have some new photos of the shoe that suggest that the volt hits on the sole actually may command more attention than the safari print. Sure, the volt hits are only on the bottom of the shoe so they won’t always be immediately visible, but in contrast with the relatively basic aqua/white upper, they certainly stand out. Let us know in the comments if you are getting even more excited for these, and stick with Sneaker News for more.

A closer look at this new Air Jordan 11 Low GS surfaces, revealing a Safari-like texture on the Aqua-colored mudguard on the upper. It’s quite the departure from the patent leather that the Air Jordan 11 is renowned for, although the 2001 “Snakeskin” releases proved that Jordan Brand wasn’t afraid to tweak its most popular model. A release date hasn’t been confirmed, but expect these during the Summer months when three other Air Jordan 11 Lows are scheduled to hit. More below, so continue on and let us know what you think.

What’s the next Little Posite Pro release?  We don’t know the answer to that question just yet, but the first one just happened earlier this month when the ‘Spider-Man’ Nike Air Foamposite Pro gave kids their first ever taste of Foamposite.  The release date for this ‘Yeezy’ Foamposite Pro hasn’t been announced just yet, but the presence of this GS-sized preview suggests that we can expect smaller versions for all Foams from here on out.  Click in to take a closer look and stick with Sneaker News to find out when they hit stores.

What exactly is the story with the ‘Reverse King’s Pride’ Nike LeBron 11?  It didn’t seem especially likely to release given that the style that its name and look is based around was the first LeBron XI all the way back in October.  But there have been more and more photos surfacing lately and even today’s first look at grade school sizes as has been the case with a few different earlier previews.  But what’s different about this GS ‘Reverse King’s Pride’ as compared to the makeup we’d seen earlier, is that this kids’ pair has white Swooshes and sockliners and clear outsoles (all jade on the mens).  Let us know your opinion once you’ve seen more below and stick with Sneaker News to see which version if any release.

Nike Air Max 1 GS – Cool Grey – Volt – Black

Not only has the Nike Air Max 1 GS finally arrived to complement the adult sizes, but they’re also borrowing one of the newest trends to hit the original Max Air runner. This new Cool Grey suede and nylon Air Max 1 for kids has the same black Swoosh and Volt midsole section as the mens’ PRMS that just hit select Nike Sportswear stores. This, then, is the first time ever that an adult Air Max 1 has a 1:1 kids counterpart. It’s dope that they did it on such a wearable yet expressive design and the fresh midsole blocking makes it feel like kids never missed out on these, but they most certainly did over the first quarter-century or so, and that’s why these are a must-have when they hit NSW retailers in March like Titolo.

nike kobe 9 elite kids gs sizes 01 Nike Kobe 9 Elite Releasing in Kids GS Sizes

It’s something to which we’ve become accustomed in recent years and now we have visual proof that Kobe Bryant’s newest Nike Basketball signature will be like both its predecessors and its contemporaries in offering kids sizes for selected colorways.  Here’s our first look at a Nike Kobe 9 Elite GS, which also seems to be the first time Flyknit has been made available for those smaller feet.  The kids edition of the ‘Perspective’ colorway shows us that these pairs don’t rise quite as high on the ankle as the mens, though the tongue is still pronounced beyond the majority of boys’ basketball shoes this season.  Click in to see more and stick with Sneaker News to find out which pairs get the GS treatment, and when, because as of the now the mens version of the “Perspective” is March 8th.
