After much delay, the Nike LeBron X NSW Lifestyle will release on this Saturday, June 15th here in the US. Up for grabs are two colorways, which will immediately catch the model up to Kobe Bryant’s adjacent offering in the NSW realm. The sneakers come in hazelnut and night stadium respectively, each of them offering up a flat footed, stripped down interpretation of the Nike LeBron X. If you want to make a Nike LeBron X pair look like the instant sellout “Weatherman” version of the Nike Zoom KD IV, the “Cutting Jade” as a base seems like the best bet. That shoe offers up a color for its upper that’s pretty close to the gooey green of that Durant pair. The work doesn’t end there though, as porting over the weather radar graphics is quite a task we’d imagine. Taking the challenge and coming out victorious is DMC Kicks, who came up with this Nike LeBron X “Weatherman” custom. If you’ve followed Sneaker News over the past couple weeks, you know LeBron James has trotted out a wide variety of heat befitting his strong playoff performance. Here’s a look at King James’ current starting lineup away from the postseason action, starting with a couple of Nike LeBron Xs. There’s Mache’s ‘Ironman’ custom and a white/red Elite, which were seen in pregame warmups. Elsewehere in LBJ’s signature line is the Ambassador V he’s been seen wearing in the locker room area, and then the ’Metallic Red’ Foamposite One he wore after vanquishing the pesky Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals’ winner-take-all. The “Denim” Nike LeBron X will release in Asia on June 22nd. For the record, we’ve already confirmed the same release date for European stockists, so it’s looking more and more like the sneakers will also be in the US on that same day. We’re not gonna jump the gun on that just yet though, but either way you can rest assured that the “Denim” Nike LeBron X isn’t too far out. The Heat struck back last night, taking care of the Spurs in a not-even-close Game 2. LeBron James cooled down just a little bit in terms of footwear, this time bringing out a previous PE instead of wowing us with yet another alternate colorup. D-Wade shed the black and gold in favor of a more Heat-leaning red and yellow pair of Li-Ning exclusives, and Chris Bosh continued to be the flag-bearer for the Nike Air Max Hyperposite. Outside of that the Spurs was again a diverse team: Manu Ginobli stayed in LeBron footwear with his “Prism”, Tim Duncan wore the adidas Crazyquick again, and Tony Park preferred Peak (Although we’ve still yet to see that finals PE). Maybe not quite as exciting as the reflective laden home version that we showed you yesterday, but this here is yet another Nike LeBron X player exclusive whipped up for women’s basketball star Swin Cash of the Chicago Sky. We know that when you think “Chicago”, the black and red colors immediately come to mind but we’re talking WNBA here, which means plenty of blue and yellow in this instance. An added bonus of these PEs for the women is the fact that they’re almost always in smaller sizes than those for the men, meaning the odds that you can actually fit into a pair upon purchase are the much higher. June 8th won’t be quite as busy as the first Saturday of the month in terms of sneaker releases, but it will be a pretty packed day nonetheless. There are two Air Jordan XI Low styles on their way, one being that brand new black and white and the other being a reprisal of the fan favorite snakeskin look. The Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Camo” will at last hit shelves as will the surprise return of the Nike Dunk Low “Viotech”. On top of that there’s a scattering of Air Jordan XX8 releases as well as the first wave of pairs for the Saint Alfred x Asics Gel Lyte III pair (Look for a global release next week).
