Nike’s recently introduced Violet Force will play a key role in the LeBron James signature releases scheduled for next Saturday, May 25th. This vibrant purple color makes up the midsole and sockliner of the ‘Sport Turquoise’ LeBron X Elite, a supporting role that’s roughly the opposite of the distribution of the other drop in question. The Nike LeBron X Low finds itself halfway between Hornets and Sprite with this explosive inversion of the aforementioned Elite colorway; will the $95 price difference figure into your selection? Let us know your plans after you’ve seen these ‘Violet Force’ LeBron X Lows up close below, and be sure to pick up a pair on the release date at retailers like Concepts.

The recent Nike LeBron X Elite releases have been available in GS sizes, but in the formation of the less-expensive non-Elite build. Perhaps that works out better for the smaller-footed Nike LeBron hunters, and as we get a look at the GS version of the upcoming Sport Turquoise/Volt-Violet Force colorway, we’re left to wonder if the Nike LeBron X Elite “Total Crimson”, which drops in June, will also be available in this GS model. In any case, check out the detailed images of this upcoming release, and purchase right now from kicksclusive on eBay.

When it comes to the NBA, the Nike LeBron X player exclusives are pretty much limited to the man himself King James. In other leagues though, we’re seeing players get blessed with their own colorups of his latest signature shoe. Diana Taurasi of the Phoenix Mercury is the latest player in that realm, on who has been given a “home” and “away” version of the shoe to go with her Phoenix Mercury jersey. Now that this precedent has been set, is there any chance that we will see her transition to some Elite versions come the post-season? Continue reading for the shots of the Nike LeBron X Diana Taurasi PEs below and tell us in the comments if you like what you see.

The new Nike LeBron X “Killer Elite” pair of custom sneakers from the always on point Mache is one that walks the line between flashy and stealthy. In regular lighting the sneaker is a gun metal grey, upgraded with just a little bit of red here and there presumably for the purpose of bringing it closer to Bron’s Heat wardrobe. Hit it with a flash though and the sneaker comes alive thanks to the thorough 3M treatment across the upper. Get a couple more angles on this Nike LeBron X Elite creation from Mache Customs and tell us in the comments if you’re feeling the 3M look.

After a one year hiatus, The LeBrons returns with a second animated season. This time, instead of the hand-drawn look, this LeBron James vehicle opts for 3D computer graphics and a video game-like sense of physics. This new approach allows for more action packed stories as seen in this teaser video centered around a wilderness camping expedition. Check out the clip below and stick with Sneaker News for the episodes.

Are Kevin Durant and his various Nike KD V Elite PEs on the way out of the playoffs? It sure seems that way, as OKC has fallen to a near-insurmountable 1-3 in their current series with Memphis. And as one of the league’s premier sneaker stars wavers another stands strong, with LeBron James and the Heat happily pushing the Bulls aside and going up 3-1. Slightly unexpected sightings from this set of NBA games sneaker-wise included a very special Air Jordan V on feet for JR Brick Smith, a random Nike Air Force Max 2013 courtside for the Spurs, and the recurring LeBron Zoom Soldier fare on the feet of one Danny Green. Continue reading for all those and more in this edition of NBA Feet.

LeBron James wore yet another Nike LeBron X Elite PE during last night’s Heat victory, wherein he and his team cruised to a game four win against Chicago. At this point Bron has to feel pretty optimistic about locking up another championship, with the Heat looking strong in the East and last year’s runner-up OKC in a pretty big hole against Memphis at the moment.
