This July 4th Holiday weekend, Nike has two great LeBron 11 releases for you lined up. This Thursday (one day before the holiday), a special “July 4th” colorway with graphics of fireworks and a solid gum sole will hit stores, while the actually holiday itself will feature the special EXT version officially dubbed the “Crown Jewel”. Both pairs have been the subject of some great responses, so if you’ve been coveting these Nike LeBrons, this weekend is the time to add them to your stash. Better no sleep on these, because the LeBron 12 will be unveiled before you know it! The Nike LeBron 11 might not be done after all. Currently floating around are two new colorways of the sneaker that have some wavy stripe flavor and a little bit of a reflective treatment to them. What exactly the uniting theme is remains to be seen, as does their fate as future retail releases. This one will no doubt conjure up some “Dunkman” visions thanks to the shoe’s heavy usage of volt. Sneaker Con rolled through Los Angeles for the second time in its history and definitely made some noise thanks to partnering with the BET Experience for a two day extravaganza. So with double the amount of time and free admittance, what could you expect but some of the best on-feet looks that the West Coast had to offer? The “History of Jordan” Air Jordan 6 made an experience with its all red leather upper, there were plenty of KD’s, and of course, the usual suspects in terms of Air Jordan retros. The Nike LeBron 11 “Crown Jewel” will release on July 4th, 2014. LeBron’s line has been used to going out with a bang in the past couple of years thanks to his champ status, but this year it will fade out a bit differently with the likes of this pair. The sneakers have a sort of color-shifting touch on the top thanks to the gold Hyperposite sections. They’ll end up on the higher end of the price spectrum, commanding $250 for the premium combination of suede and leather that’s utilized.
