Nike’s recently introduced Violet Force will play a key role in the LeBron James signature releases scheduled for next Saturday, May 25th. This vibrant purple color makes up the midsole and sockliner of the ‘Sport Turquoise’ LeBron X Elite, a supporting role that’s roughly the opposite of the distribution of the other drop in question. The recent Nike LeBron X Elite releases have been available in GS sizes, but in the formation of the less-expensive non-Elite build. Perhaps that works out better for the smaller-footed Nike LeBron hunters, and as we get a look at the GS version of the upcoming Sport Turquoise/Volt-Violet Force colorway, we’re left to wonder if the Nike LeBron X Elite “Total Crimson”, which drops in June, will also be available in this GS model. When it comes to the NBA, the Nike LeBron X player exclusives are pretty much limited to the man himself King James. In other leagues though, we’re seeing players get blessed with their own colorups of his latest signature shoe. Diana Taurasi of the Phoenix Mercury is the latest player in that realm, on who has been given a “home” and “away” version of the shoe to go with her Phoenix Mercury jersey. Now that this precedent has been set, is there any chance that we will see her transition to some Elite versions come the post-season? The new Nike LeBron X “Killer Elite” pair of custom sneakers from the always on point Mache is one that walks the line between flashy and stealthy. In regular lighting the sneaker is a gun metal grey, upgraded with just a little bit of red here and there presumably for the purpose of bringing it closer to Bron’s Heat wardrobe. Hit it with a flash though and the sneaker comes alive thanks to the thorough 3M treatment across the upper. Are Kevin Durant and his various Nike KD V Elite PEs on the way out of the playoffs? It sure seems that way, as OKC has fallen to a near-insurmountable 1-3 in their current series with Memphis. And as one of the league’s premier sneaker stars wavers another stands strong, with LeBron James and the Heat happily pushing the Bulls aside and going up 3-1. The tenth LeBron James Nike Basketball signature model is a perfect match for a player who can do whatever he wants on the court. You’ve got the performance side of things on lock with the LeBron X and its Elite PS version. For lifestyle purposes, the lowtop is an annual institution and we can only hope the same will happen with Nike LeBron X EXT successors.
