The 2013 NBA Finals are about to kick-off in just a few short moments, and you know that the sneaker brands have something in store for their superstars to showcase on the game’s biggest stage. Complex took the time to detail what they believe as the 10 best NBA Finals Sneakers ever, pointing to the Air Jordan XI “Bred” as the best ever. Upon seeing the grade school edition of the ‘Sport Turquoise’ LeBron X Elite last month, we wondered whether the ‘Total Crimson’ colorway would follow suit. Indeed, we see this Elite makeup faithfully ported over to the Nike LeBron X GS, and like the turquoise duo, the crimson releases are synced up as we head into the Elite’s Saturday drop. LeBron James has finally gone and laced up that custom pair of the Nike Lebron X that Mache made for him. You’ll recall that Heat teammate Dwyane Wade already took his Mache joints to the NBA court, but for whatever reason we haven’t seen King James go that far quite yet. Will he wear the Nike LeBron X “Ironman 3″ looking pair in the forthcoming NBA Finals series? This summer the Nike LeBron X will go denim on us, following up the likes of the “Cork” release with a material that’s been just a bit more common across the history of sneakers. It does keep things well out of the performance realm though, which seems to be the overall theme of the Nike LeBron X EXT. Release info remains murky-we’ve seen Euro retailers listing them as a June 22nd release though so the wait hopefully won’t be too much longer. The Nike LeBron X Low is a sneaker that we’ve not seen King James himself in all too often. You’d think that he would take the shoes for a spin in his off-court downtime but that hasn’t been the case, as his wears in that category lately have involved the likes of Jordans and Foamposites. We don’t think they need his glowing endorsement to shift units though, as colorways like the upcoming “University Red” Nike LeBron X Low shown here should do fine on their own merits. Are we looking at the last Nike LeBron X Elite colorway that will hit stores? There haven’t been any other confirmed for release, so it’s certainly a possibility. But then again LeBron’s chances of grabbing another chip this year are looking pretty decent, and we couldn’t imagine Nike Basketball letting the opportunity to drop another championship-celebrating shoe fly by. Almost as exciting as his on-court sneakers for the post season are LeBron‘s off court wears. Last night, after at last dismissing the Pacers in Game 7, LeBron slipped into some Foamposites for a little bit of post game banter with the likes of Shaq and the rest of the Inside the NBA crew. We definitely approve of the Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Red” choice, but you’ve gotta figure this would have been a fine time for King James to debut his off-court lifestyle shoe that’s on its way for the summer. That DJ Clark Kent created 112 palette is one that’s been around for the past couple of Nike LeBron sneakers. Granted they haven’t been retail releases-they’ve instead been friends and family pairs that the general public is forced to ogle at a distance. Spreading the love a little bit is the Nike LeBron X Low “112″, a custom creation from DeJesus; the colorway does a great job of mimicry, with the volted up Flywire supports looking especially good and the signature elephant print landing on the heel panel to complete Clark’s 112 composition.
