With Larry David bringing back the Seinfeld cast for this season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, what better way to introduce the new Nike ACG Air Magma AC Quickstrike than having Jerry wear an updated version of the Nike boots he so frequently rocked during his show’s early days. Then again, the season finale is Sunday. It was probably shot a good while back, you might have to do a YouTube with your friends to create what could have been. From the ankles to the soles, you’ll be 100% Jerry, but the black vulcanized sole screams ‘retro remake!’ Try and remember that 13,600 yen is only about $150 when you grab these from mita sneakers.

The Nike SFB (Special Forces Boot) was created to be pretty much indestructable, so it’s only natural to see it manifesting in a bunch of new colourways. Hiroshi Fujiwara proved how dope it can look in all black, but instead of his midtop ‘chukka’, this pair takes colourless nylon and shiny leather halfway up your shin. Couple that kind of extra support with an articulate Free sole and these might be the perfect warm-weather answer to some of the chunkier winterized joints. Nike ACG Boots – Heater II + Chisulo

Nike boots are hot like/thanks-in-part-to Wale right now. Another pretty influential guy on the ‘net right now is Marcus Troy, who just revealed his latest haul: two pairs of Swoosh stompers. Above is the Nike Heater II, which, ironically enough, is lined with 3M’s Thinsulate to ensure that your feet stay warm, but never overheat. As for the Nike Air Max Chisulo ACG, they’re clearly influenced by the Air Trainer 1 and give the Safari print a rugged platform. We’ll keep you updated as both hit retailers.

Nike’s SFB (Special Forces Boot) has to be near the top of any list of the most bizarre releases this year. It’s a kevlar reinforced, Free-soled super-hightop ready for war, but somehow Uniform Experiment was able to make them totally wearable for the streets. Not that dudes aren’t wearing the SFBs to catch a quick stare, but this all-black midtop ‘chukka’ should work with pretty much any kind of outfit you throw its way. The Hiroshi Fujiwara-designed limited edition boots are available now at Nike Sportswear’s 21 Mercer St. location in New York.

While we sincerely hope that you never need to use ‘em for that, the Nike SFB (Special Forces Boot) is equipped for any kind of battle you might need to enter. The Kevlar-sheathed lightweight tactical boot features a Free sole for superiour traction and feel, while the upper is constructed to be among the fastest drying footwear in existence. This pair in black with purple nylon underlay is just nutty, and we can’t see anyone actually wearing these into combat. In light of the whimsical colourway, we’re going to repeal our warning against using them for actual battles, and instead suggest that you cop a pair so you can best your friends as ‘most outrageously dressed’. Celebrity Feet: The Rza’s Sneaker Carpet?

Global fame can bring all kinds of riches. From special editions to collaborations and some that owe their own place in streetwear to celebrity fans, we see all kinds of celebrity sneaker trends. In this edition, peep what Method Man’s boy RZA is reppin on his ‘W’-emblazoned rug. The way the offwhite shag carpeting drapes into the tighter-cut logo in the middle is pretty amazing, but don’t get distracted and miss the man’s kicks!

Never one to fit in, you notice that RZA seems not to care about keeping up with the Wales and Cudis of the world, but there’s still a place in his sole for Air Jordans, Nike Air Max 90 Boots, Reebok ATR basketball sneakers, adidas kicks, Timberland boots and a pink and blue pair that looks to be the Puma Clyde (or Suede, perhaps). Those all might be decoys, though, since we picture him more like these photos: rocking a pair of crisp Clarks Wallabees.
