nike flyknit trainer chukka fsb light charcoal black grey 01 Nike Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB Light Charcoal Black Dark Grey

Last week was a big one for the Nike Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB as the all white rendition was arguably the most coveted variety of the winterized Flyknit sneaker yet. That pair was rather limited, but perhaps this Light Charcoal colorway will prove that the sneaker warrants a wider release. The idea of Flyknit functioning on a boot is still a new one, as this time last year the fact that a basketball sneaker (we’re looking at you Nike Kobe 9 Elite) featuring the material still seemed like a crazy idea. How would it work? Is it stable or supportive enough? Nike continues to expand the technology and with more Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB colorways arriving, do you plan on grabbing a pair? We’re still waiting on this Flyknit Trainer to arrive stateside, but the good news is that overseas retailers like Size? already have them in stock so they should be headed our way sooner than later.

The Nike Kobe 9 Elite “Victory” is headed our way on October 31st, 2014. There will be plenty of Halloween sneaker releases, and while this pair isn’t a direct reference to the spooky night, there’s always been something intimidatingly scary about Kobe’s will to win. The color works nicely with black throughout the sneaker while a Metallic Gold Swoosh stands out just enough to make this colorway a standout. Get with us after the break for a closer look at this Kobe 9 Elite, available for $225 USD, and know that while Nike is reporting an official release date of 10/28, stay tuned for more updates as the day is subject to change.

Is Flyknit the best upgrade yet on the Nike Roshe Run? We’re starting to see new colorways filter out, but this clean grey/navy pair might be the top pick of the upcoming crop due to the simplicity of the colorway. nike flyknit roshe run light charcoal dark obsidian wolf grey 01 Nike Flyknit Roshe Run Light Charcoal Dark Obsidian Wolf Grey

It only took a few colorways for the Nike Flyknit Roshe Run to cement itself as a must have. The thinking behind it isn’t too difficult to follow – outfit the ever-popular and comfortable Roshe Run with a slimmer Natural Motion sole while ditching mesh for the coveted flyknit and voilà. Past releases like the “Random Yarn Color” stood out in part for the vibrance but we’ve received some tonal pairs as well. This “Light Charcoal” aesthetic fits into that category quite nicely with a muted, near heather grey speckling throughout the top. Nothing too flashy, just another solid look for everyday use. Stay tuned for a stateside release date, but just incase you can’t wait, the pair is available right now from select overseas retailers like Unisport.
