The Nike Free Run+ 3 made a lasting first impression with a ‘romantic comedy’ of a promo video that demonstrates just how durable your own bare feet can be with the help of a 5.0 sole. The Free Run+ 3 has a tough task ahead of itself when it comes to topping the ubiquitous Free Run 2, but lifestyle-oriented colorways like this largely suede combination of Iguana and Cargo Khaki ensure you’ll start seeing these in more casual settings. Their overall earthiness and speckled soles suggest these can handle your summertime trail runs as well, so check them out after the jump below and get ready to strengthen your body from the floor up with this new drop from Concepts.

The N7 collection represents Nike’s commitment to bring the benefits of sports and active living to North America’s native and aboriginal communities. It’s hard to think of a design that better embodies this goal than one embracing the oldest way to run as a way to strengthen an athlete from the ground up, and with this in mind, the Nike N7 Free Run+ 3 will arrive this Friday, May 25th. Two colorways each offer a focus on one portion of the signature N7 palette, a black mens edition joined by a Dark Turquoise ladies pair that’s all but guaranteed to beat the average for 1.5-ups. Check out both pairs in greater detail below, let us know if you’d have liked to have seen the blue design in mens sizes and let us know if this new drop will make its way onto this weekend’s sneaker shopping list.

Tiger Woods is ready to bring some new flavor to the green by wearing the all-new Nike TW ’13 – a combination of rugged Free-soled spikes and a sleek stitch-less minimalist upper. More ‘SFB’ than ‘golf’, the TW ’13 appears to be one of the most advanced golf shoes to date – quite a fit for a golfer who dominated the game like the Jordans and Tysons of the world. Two colorways of the TW ’13 will drop on June 8th – both retailed for $180 – and should be available at Nike Golf retailers as well as Nikestore, so let us know if you’d lace these up!

Here comes a new Nike Huarache Basketball 2012 that despite featuring the same dual-colored mesh toe as many of this year’s other Free-soled drops, ends up feeling like a left field drop. But regular Sneaker News readers will remember this as one of the first colorways from this model we previewed back in July 2011, its Loyal and Storm Blues plus Vivid Orange most certainly the kind of thing that will make a lasting impression on New York sports fans. Check them out in greater detail below, then grab yours from Nike Sportswear dealers like Extra Butter or scoop up one of the pairs floating around now on eBay.

What gives the Nike Free a true ‘barefoot’ running experience is that it allows the foot to twist and contort in any direction the foot pleases. With that said, the Nike WMNS Free 3.0 V4 was put to the test as it was worn by a world-class contortionist (one who clearly knows a few twists and turns). The end result proves that the shoes didn’t inhibit the athlete at all, and in the end, become one with the Nike Free (with a dope shot of her becoming a Swoosh logo inside an oversized shoe-box). Full video and image stills below, so take a look and cop your Free 3.0 V4s in store or on Nike iD.

Chances are, primed with the words ‘sneakers’ and ‘power lines’, you’d come up with that iconic urban image of kicks hanging from an electric cable. Whether they’re code for your neighborhood or someone imitating those origins, you wouldn’t expect to be able to rock those again once they’re looped around some ridiculous voltage. But rather than leaving you fried to a crisp, the Nike Free Powerlines+ is a sneaker that seeks to fill you with a similar energetic charge. The Powerlines find themselves somewhere between Flywire and Fly Knit, and this purple-accented grey and red colorup is sure to be seen running down a street near you when they arrive at select retailers this summer. Hot on the heels of Tom Sachs’ space-themed collaboration and the accompanying 1948 London installation comes another inventive display from Nike, this time in Tokyo’s O-Yane Plaza. That’s where you’ll find ‘The Super Natural Ride’, an exhibition celebrating the ‘barefoot plus’ capabilities bestowed upon those who rock Nike Free from point A to point B. The visuals range from grass sculpted lettering to eye-popping multimedia displays, and you can get a sense for what it’d be like to visit in more details after the jump. Let us know what you think and if there’s a sneaker event you’ve witnessed that was even crazier. via FRESHNESS

Nike Free continues to dominate the ‘comfy outsole’ sector with its new designs and hybridized classics, like the Huaraches and the Kukini Free. The verdict on the ‘Free’ hybrids is still out, but in the case of comfort, the Kukini Free is guilty of all charges because they are built for maximum comfort with the Free outsole, lace-less construction, and lock-down cage fit. This new Vivid Orange release offers up a wild rendition of the equally eccentric design, and with Europe’s SneakersNStuff stocking these now, you should find ‘em at your local NSW retailer soon if they haven’t popped up yet.
