Good morning, Manny Pacquiao, and congratulations on winning the world title in an unprecedented seventh weight class! Ok, so chances are the Pac-Man is a little too busy today to check the streetwear blog circuit; he deserves to sleep in after that kind of effort (and what an impressive year!). Then again, Manny already has several variations on these, so it’s you who needs to be up and at-’em this morning if you want to get your hands on the Philippines colourway of the Nike Trainer 1. These are basically the same as the ‘Lights Out’ edition, but instead of black and neon green, you get Pacquiao’s national colours. The Nike SFB (Special Forces Boot) was created to be pretty much indestructable, so it’s only natural to see it manifesting in a bunch of new colourways. Hiroshi Fujiwara proved how dope it can look in all black, but instead of his midtop ‘chukka’, this pair takes colourless nylon and shiny leather halfway up your shin. Couple that kind of extra support with an articulate Free sole and these might be the perfect warm-weather answer to some of the chunkier winterized joints. Nike’s SFB (Special Forces Boot) has to be near the top of any list of the most bizarre releases this year. It’s a kevlar reinforced, Free-soled super-hightop ready for war, but somehow Uniform Experiment was able to make them totally wearable for the streets. Not that dudes aren’t wearing the SFBs to catch a quick stare, but this all-black midtop ‘chukka’ should work with pretty much any kind of outfit you throw its way. The Hiroshi Fujiwara-designed limited edition boots are available now at Nike Sportswear’s 21 Mercer St. location in New York.

Ben Drury x Nike Air Max 90 Current @ 21 Mercer St.

Ben Drury’s teaser photos back in April gave us our first glimpse of his ‘Tongue N’ Cheek’ Nike Air Max 90 for Dizzee Rascal, along with another pair for himself that we expected to see in boot form. Turns out, the metal hook eyelet at midfoot is just a design element on Drury’s Nike Air Max 90 Current. They keep the boot laces and look like they’d perform pretty well with a mesh toebox and perforated suede on the rear. The navy and white look would be perfect for Yankee fans, but the tongue tags rep for London, and implore you to ‘Trust Me’. Now that you’re suggestible, grab yours at 21 Mercer St.

While we sincerely hope that you never need to use ‘em for that, the Nike SFB (Special Forces Boot) is equipped for any kind of battle you might need to enter. The Kevlar-sheathed lightweight tactical boot features a Free sole for superiour traction and feel, while the upper is constructed to be among the fastest drying footwear in existence. This pair in black with purple nylon underlay is just nutty, and we can’t see anyone actually wearing these into combat. In light of the whimsical colourway, we’re going to repeal our warning against using them for actual battles, and instead suggest that you cop a pair so you can best your friends as ‘most outrageously dressed’. Nike Air Trainer 1 – New York Yankees – New Photos

While their twenty-seventh World Series title isn’t the lock it seemed just a couple of days earlier, there’s still a good chance the New York Yankees will ride in a big parade down Broadway next week. Otherwise, this new Nike Air Trainer 1 will end up as an awkward tribute to the most expensive second-place team of all time. In and of itself, the shoe is dope, carrying the Yankee aesthetic through and through. It’s a perfect mix of navy blue, silver and white, including new tongue tags that now have tiny hits of red. Meanwhile the insoles are done in red for contrast, plus black printing of the sixteen retired numbers adorned in pinstripes. Foot Locker says these will be out within two weeks, so we’ll keep you posted.

Nike Trainer 1 – University of Oregon Ducks PE

Fresh off a thorough dismantling of fifth ranked USC, Oregon finds itself back in the BCS picture. We could be seeing alot more of the Ducks’ crazy Nike uniforms, uniforms that this year feature a sort of skeletal wing accent atop the shoulder. This same wing design surrounds the grey ‘O’ embroidered on the heel of this special pair of Nike Trainer 1s.

This pair comes in the black, green and gold combination that graces their seemingly innumerable unis and feature a macro weave pattern that we suppose you could say looks a little like carbon fiber, at leas that’s the idea. Take a look at more photos after the jump and you’ll notice that the backgrounds might be the craziest part of these photos. We see various Nike Basketball models including LeBrons and Kobes, all in the green and gold. No word yet on the release for these, but you know we’ll keep you posted. via SC
