The N7 collection represents Nike’s commitment to bring the benefits of sports and active living to North America’s native and aboriginal communities. It’s hard to think of a design that better embodies this goal than one embracing the oldest way to run as a way to strengthen an athlete from the ground up, and with this in mind, the Nike N7 Free Run+ 3 will arrive this Friday, May 25th. Two colorways each offer a focus on one portion of the signature N7 palette, a black mens edition joined by a Dark Turquoise ladies pair that’s all but guaranteed to beat the average for 1.5-ups. Tiger Woods is ready to bring some new flavor to the green by wearing the all-new Nike TW ’13 – a combination of rugged Free-soled spikes and a sleek stitch-less minimalist upper. Contorting The Nike WMNS Free 3.0 V4

What gives the Nike Free a true ‘barefoot’ running experience is that it allows the foot to twist and contort in any direction the foot pleases. With that said, the Nike WMNS Free 3.0 V4 was put to the test as it was worn by a world-class contortionist (one who clearly knows a few twists and turns). The end result proves that the shoes didn’t inhibit the athlete at all, and in the end, become one with the Nike Free (with a dope shot of her becoming a Swoosh logo inside an oversized shoe-box). Chances are, primed with the words ‘sneakers’ and ‘power lines’, you’d come up with that iconic urban image of kicks hanging from an electric cable. Whether they’re code for your neighborhood or someone imitating those origins, you wouldn’t expect to be able to rock those again once they’re looped around some ridiculous voltage. But rather than leaving you fried to a crisp, the Nike Free Powerlines+ is a sneaker that seeks to fill you with a similar energetic charge. The Powerlines find themselves somewhere between Flywire and Fly Knit, and this purple-accented grey and red colorup is sure to be seen running down a street near you when they arrive at select retailers this summer. Nike Free ‘The Super Natural Ride’

Hot on the heels of Tom Sachs’ space-themed collaboration and the accompanying 1948 London installation comes another inventive display from Nike, this time in Tokyo’s O-Yane Plaza. That’s where you’ll find ‘The Super Natural Ride’, an exhibition celebrating the ‘barefoot plus’ capabilities bestowed upon those who rock Nike Free from point A to point B. The visuals range from grass sculpted lettering to eye-popping multimedia displays, and you can get a sense for what it’d be like to visit in more details after the jump.
