Remember that option that NIKE iD teased out yesterday that seemed to be caught up in this year’s alien themed NBA All-Star pack? It turns out the Nike Hyperdunk 2012 is the model that will be picking up on said option in the form of the Nike Hyperdunk 2012 iD ‘Extraterrestrial’. The option looks to plant the starry, galactic print on the upper of the sneakers, an approach that definitely furthers the already futuristic look of this Nike+ equipped basketball sneaker. NIKE iD just promised some additions to the Nike LeBron X iD palette, but apparently that isn’t all that they’re planning to announce this week. They’ve taken to Twitter to promise that they’ve got something even bigger in the works. Which sneaker will it take place on? No details on that yet-but judging by the rather ‘Galaxy’ looking print that accompanies their teaser here, we wouldn’t be too surprised if it was one of their Big Three basketball silos. The Nike LeBron X iD burst out of the gates when it was made available last Holiday season, and this Tuesday, February 12th, Nike iD is ready to present some new colorway options for you to get creative with. This teaser shot reveals a new gold upper with a red etched Swoosh, pointing to a different rendition of LeBron’s ‘Championship’ PE that he wore on the Opening night of the 2012-2013 NBA Season. Snakeskin option is finally here, and like how the elephant print option did, this new snake material allows us to get very creative in reviving some OG classics. We’ve managed to give new life to the legendary ‘Cocoa Snake’ Air Force 1 Low, settling for a slightly different shade of snake and going with a nubuck upper, while our imagination ran a bit wild by going ‘Grinch’ with the Air Force 1 High.
