releasing this weekend 8 19 14 Sneakers Releasing This Weekend July 19th, 2014

With Friday upon us, it’s time to shift our gaze towards the coming days and discuss which sneakers are releasing this weekend. There are two pretty clear headliners: the Air Jordan 3 “Wolf Grey” and the Nike Air Max Lunar90 “Moon Landing”. The former should be straightforward in terms of its release but the latter should be more difficult – the “Moon Landing” joints will be at boutique shops on Sunday and at NikeLab online (We have a feeling NikeLab brick and mortars will drop them as well). Take a look at those pairs and a bunch more and then tell us in the comments what you’re planning to purchase this weekend.

nike lunar tr1 oregon ducks Nike Lunar TR1 Oregon Ducks

The Nike Lunar TR1 was destined to get the Oregon Ducks look sooner or later. After all, the original Lunar TR1 had no small number of University of Oregon flavors. This pair marks the first player exclusive makeup of the 2014 TR1 that we’ve seen, and features “O” branding on the tongue along with some wing graphics flanking the sides of the shoes. Oregon players have them now – no word on whether or not a retail release is coming. See more angles on them after the break and then let us know if you like these Oregon Nike sneakers.

nike air max lunar90 wr Nike Air Max Lunar90 Water Resistant

You have to respect the fact that pairs like the Nike Air Max Lunar90 are given performance upgrades even though the shoes occupy a pretty strictly lifestyle realm at this point. This time around the shoes are given the WR treatment, that’s Water Resistant, which should seal them up and protect them from the elements. First up for the build is this colorway, which wears black, white, and silver while sliding just a little bit of volt on bottom. Take a better look at them below and stay tuned for news on the US arrival of the Nike Air Max Lunar90 Water Resistant.

The Nike Air Max Lunar90 SP “Moon” will release on July 20th. We caught a first look at these amazing Air Max sneakers yesterday, and the immediate reaction was massively positive. These will run you $145 and will likely disappear fast, so take one more look here and stay tuned for the official release on the 20th.

Nike Air Max Lunar 90 SP “USA”

nike air max lunar90 usa 2 Nike Air Max Lunar 90 SP USA

This Nike Lunar version of the classic Air Max 90 silhouette will be taking full advantage of the Lunar part of the equation with this new pair, whose upper has a graphic looking rather like the surface of the moon. The shoe also has a separate stars/stripes motif for the back badges found on the left and right shoes, respectively, as reference to Neil Armstrong’s small step for man made on July 20th, 1969. Bodega is the only store so far that have reported pairs for this weekend, but don’t be surprised if some other top-tier NSW accounts chime in with similar reports. See the Nike Air Max Lunar 90 SP “USA” below and best of luck in purchasing a pair.
