There are a handful of different technologies you can expect Nike to turn to when the want to re-introduce a classic style with a more contemporary look. As of late, Nike Lunar seems to be the most popular choice. Joining the ranks of the new Nike Lunar Force 1 will be a couple more remixed styles-the Nike Lunar Cheyenne, Nike Lunar LDV Trail Low, and the Nike Lunar Blazer. We’re assuming you’re familiar with the first and the last of that group, but the likes of the Nike Lunar Cheyenne and the Nike Lunar LDV Trail Low might be lost on quite a few folks. Get some more back info on each after the jump and watch for these styles in stores beginning July 1st.

The Air Pegasus ’83 is ramping up for a 30th birthday celebration and the ’92 is giving Nike Sportswear’s OG series a second wind. When it comes to the ’89 edition, all of the 2013 pairs we’ve seen have been JD Sports exclusives, perhaps an indication that NSW is focusing their efforts on this new update. The Nike Lunar Pegasus ’89 combines the technical advantages of LunarLon and Dynamic Support with the aesthetic boost of 3M reflectivity and crisp contemporary colorways as the latest example of a classic Swoosh runner refreshed. Stick with Sneaker News for info because they should be arriving next month, and let us know what you think after checking out more shots below.

The Nike LunarGlide+ 5 is a sneaker that will go a bit more graphic than its predecessor. To date there has been no shortage of camo looks previewed for the shoe, ones that shrink down the side perforations for the sake of a slightly more intact canvas across the upper. This new pair registers as the most colorful amongst them thanks to its blue and orange based splotches. See more after the jump and stay tuned to find out when this Nike LunarGlide+ 5 will be at your local sneaker spot.

The most subdued Nike LunarGlide+ 5 colorway to date makes its first appearance today. Ditching the camouflage look that’ll arrive later or any semblance of a color pop, these black and white LunarGlide 5s make the most of the ‘panda’ look with white Dynamic Flywire cables contrasted against a black Engineered Mesh upper. This is about as close as you can get to a ‘classic’ look from a cutting edge performance marvel with so much tech like the LunarGlide, so enjoy its simple beauty in more images below and stick with Sneaker News for release info.

The latest LunarSpider takes its name literally with a web of Dynamic Flywire across the upper, so it’s only natural to see this lightweight runner treated to an animal pattern. The Nike LunarSpider+ R4 is the latest in a line of popular Asia-only lightweight Lunar runners, and this rendition reflects the Far East’s early adoption of the wild prints that’ve become all the rage here in the US. The LunarSpider series occasionally arrives at Euro retailers but hasn’t yet arrived stateside, so keep your eyes peeled for availability on these leopard print colorways and stick with Sneaker News for the latest.

The Nike Lunar Force 1 gave us a black and neon green colorway earlier this year on the midtop silhouette. The lowtop has always been the most popular member of the AF1 family, so this new Lunar Force 1 Low reprising a similar color scheme is sure to be in demand. These incorporate a leather upper along with translucent toe and side panels for a new look the likes of which you might expect to see incorporated into other palettes. This pair should arrive at Nike Sportswear dealers in July, and you can pre-order yours today from Hanon.

Camouflage colorways hint that the Nike LunarGlide+ 5 has more graphic options in store (not to mention the NSW versions), but most of the styles we’ve seen previewed have been more restrained. Here is perhaps the most subdued yet, a Wolf Grey makeup with white outsole and a hint of Sonic Yellow, which appears greener than usual in these images. Let us know how these stack up to the similarly blocked ‘Blue Hero’ LunarGlide 5 after you’ve seen more below, then pre-order this July shipment from End.
