Before the cork texture ever became a commodity on the Nike LeBron X, folks with the proper clout were enjoying the option over on the Nike Air Force 1 Bepsoke side of things. One of those folks was Slovadon, who went back to work with the theme on his most recent Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke creation. The pair, actually based off the aforementioned Nike LeBron X release, utilizes a mixture of brown croc leather and cork across the upper while slapping on the Nike Lunar sole for the tooling. If you’ve ever stepped into a pair of Nike Lunar sneakers then you know what a smooth ride the lightweight technology provides. With that being said, there’s a whole different level of that sort of appreciation for the folks who go to work in them for hours on end. That includes basketball players rocking the likes of the Nike Hyperdunk 2012, runners who pound the pavement with the foam on feet, and golfers who staying swinging with Nike Lunar tech beneath them. What is your favorite of the peripheral Nike Roshe Run styles? Ending up pretty close to the original in terms of the overall shape is the Nike Roshe Run Dynamic Flywire, which brings in a techy look on the sides that runs up to the lacing system. Of course the Flywire supports are sort of superfluous here, as nobody is using the Nike Roshe Run as a performance sneaker, but they do a good job breaking up the silhouette anyways so we can dig it. The Nike Flyknit One+ has quickly caught up the to the Nike Flyknit Trainer as far as being the most prolific of models from the Nike Flyknit range. The “Volt” look is a must for any Flyknit silhouette, as that burning bright yellow was sort of the most prevalent color at the technology’s initial rollout. It shows up all over the upper for this pair, which also sports the coveted speckled look for its midsole tooling. The award-winning Nike Flyknit Lunar1+ continues to impress us with great colorways, as this “Sprite” mix of Royal Blue and punchy Volt is set to arrive sometime this year. We’ve already been treated to a rather eclectic mix of colorways, and the upcoming “Multi-Color” surely has in tune with the Flyknit Lunar1+, so this new Royal/Volt combo is just a nice treat to the already-spoiled Flyknit followers. The Nike LunarGlide+ is ready to be unveiled in a fifth different format with the Nike LunarGlide+ 5, and without going too in depth around the tech and build of the shoe, we’ll go ahead and say it’s one of the most comfortable sneakers out there. Nike hit it right on the head when the LunarGlide+ debuted several years ago, and the award-winning Lunar outsole gets a healthy upgrade with Engineered Mesh and thick Dynamic Flywire cables for that lockdown fit. With a name somewhere between traditional shoes and its use as a strike you might deliver with it on your foot, combined with cutting edge technologies like Dynamic Flywire and LunarLon cushioning, the Nike Lunar Chenchukka stands apart as one of the more unique blends of performance and casual comfort. This new Chenchukka Quickstrike combines a Dark Khaki suede upper with Violet Force running along the top midsole half and heel counter, pronouncing a blocking pattern we’ve seen applied a bit more subtly on the earlier previews.
