The Nike Roshe Run is one of the more custom ready sneakers out there. The mesh of the upper provides a pretty blank canvas and the initial investment is pretty small given the awesome $70 price tag. This time around we see the sport red version of the sneaker remixed with a yellow Swoosh across the side and some tropical graphics for the front and back end. The “Island Girls” look evokes a Hawaiian getaway vibe while still maintaining a modicum of the simplicity that makes the Nike Roshe Run such a great silhouette in the first place. Get another look at this custom from kikeronincheese after the jump.

Nike Sportswear has yet to create any official designation (i.e., on the box labels) for the different Lunar Force 1 silhouettes. We have seen a clear separation between the Fuse and Leather editions, but when it comes to Low/Mid/High, you’re left to your own devices. Here’s the second ‘higher’ model we’ve seen, a Nike Lunar Force 1 LTHR release clearly in the midtop class thanks to its close resemblance to the veteran AF1 Mid. This one utilizes a vibramnt green-yellow gradient on the LunarLon sole to emphasize the upgrade while the upper sticks to more traditional materials like black leather and nubuck. Stick with Sneaker News for word on US availability and let us know how these compare to the other Lunar Force 1s we’ve seen over the past few months.
