Nike has been rather generous with the helpings of the Nike Tennis Classic this summer. There was the enticing fragment design x Nike Court Tennis Classic Collection for the US Open – and when Hiroshi Fujiwara hooks up with the Swoosh it’s always something special – as well as the likes of outfitting an NSW iteration with a Tiempo sole because well, just because. Today we get a look at the sneaker reverting back to its original form, featuring a suede construction in a vibrant red while hits of leather arrive on the orange Swoosh and heel. While we’re still waiting on a stateside release for this pair, you can let us know if you’d pick up this colorway in the comments section after checking out more images below.

Back in August we were treated to the news that the classic 1989 All Conditions Gear silhouette in the Nike Air Wildwood would be making its imminent return to store shelves, but while we’ve seen initial previews, we’ve yet to get our hands on a pair. The Cargo Khaki aesthetic was definitely head-turning thanks to the addition of a vibrant pink Swoosh atop a casual base, and today we get to see a familiar pairing of Midnight Navy and Volt aided by a little red pop on the midsole. Perhaps now that summer is in the rear view mirror and colder days are ahead, we’ll start seeing more colorways of the ACG staple return. Continue onward for a better look at this Nike ACG Air Wildwood after the click and stay tuned for a stateside release announcement in the near future.

nike lunar raid volt available 01 Nike Lunar Raid Volt Available

Remember the Air Jordan 8.0? The upgraded silhouette featured an updated outsole to focus on a more modern, skinnier alternative to Mike’s eighth signature – one that you could hoop in and not feel guilty about creasing while keeping the aesthetic fairly intact. Well Tinker’s other dual strapped gem in the For Outdoor Use Only Nike Air Raid returns with a LunarLon base in the Nike Lunar Raid. The thought process remains the same, and the colorway matches the new construction thanks to that vibrant signature volt that will make this pair hard to miss. What do you think? Check out more images after the click and pick up your size today from spots like Jimmy Jazz.

While the Nike Huarache line has been a lot more available in North America this year, that doesn’t mean that it’s without the occasional exclusive. Both Foot Locker Europe and Foot Locker Australia have been frequent sources of those sort of pairs, and the former is at it again with this creation that’s got that print that looks pretty close to the classic elephant while not quit nailing it. They’re on their way for a release this Saturday at 9AM CET, so make sure you call up your European friends in the near future so you can figure out how to lock down a pair ahead of that. Before you do though, check out the full photo for this Nike Air Huarache below the click.

love hate huaraches 01 Nike Air Huarache Love/Hate Pack Arriving at Retailers

The nice thing about this year’s string of Nike Huarache pairs is that, even with all the excitement around that family this year, there haven’t been any pairs that were too hard to track down. The “Triple Black” caused a bit of a scare at first, but eventually enough big box retailers got them in stock to where nobody really had an excuse as far as not tracking them down. It looks like the Nike Air Huarache “Love/Hate” pack should enjoy a similar status, as they’ll be heading to NSW accounts across the country like Rock City Kicks. Flip through their photos for another look at the shoes and remember that they’re launching on Saturday, 9/20.

A Detailed Look at the Nike Air Command Force “Emerald”

emerald nike air command force A Detailed Look at the Nike Air Command Force Emerald

This year’s return of the original Nike Air Command Force might be tougher to track down that you’d originally assumed. At least for the “Emerald” colorway, it appears that there is a version on the way that will be limited to just 50 pairs. We can only assume that won’t be the case for each of the pairs coming back out of the archives though – it wouldn’t really make sense in terms of cost to resurrect this silhouette only to make a couple hundred pairs total. Continue reading to see how the shoes are shaping up, including the slick black box that they’ll arrive in, and stay tuned to Sneaker News for a release date on these David Robinson classics.

Is The Nike Air Command Force “OG Emerald” Limited To 50 Pairs?

September 14th, 2014 by | 9 comments

nike air command force og emerald retro 3 Is The Nike Air Command Force OG Emerald Limited To 50 Pairs?

One sneaker to keep an eye on this Holiday 2014 season is the Air Command Force Retro, a sneaker revived from the vaults in its original form – pump module and all. We recently showed you the original Volt and an enticing new “Spurs” rendition, but many were asking the whereabouts of the Teal pair that David Robinson wore during the sneaker’s debut run. These latest images of the Air Command Force in that “Emerald” suit reveal one frightening detail – a label on the inner face of the tongue that may allude to only 50 pairs being made (Robinson’s jersey number with the Spurs). Let’s hope that isn’t the case, so check back with us for updates on this anticipated Retro release and we’ll give you all the new on the Command Force that you need.
