The Nike Air Max Speed Turf was a sneaker that went in pretty deep with the NFL combinations for last year’s retro. We saw the colors of the Raiders, Giants, Dolphins, and the Cowboys all hit on the model in a pretty short span of time. It appears that Nike is done drawing from that well, as this black based, pastel accented random new release can’t really be pinned down with any such connection. Is the return of the Nike Air Revolution looking not quite OG enough for you? If you answered yes to that question, then this Nike Air Revolution VNTG might better suit your needs. The pair puts on the hate it or love it VNTG touches, albeit pretty minimally. There’s none of that pre-yellowed misdole stuff going on, although we’d have to guess that the bottom has a little bit of that whited out oxidization. Continue reading to see the full images and stay tuned for release info on this Nike Air Revolution, which is part of a greater group of VNTG Nike Sportswear releases that are on their way.

We knew the Nike Air Revolution was returning in 2013 and now here’s the release info for the first drop. The Air Revolution reaches back to its 1988 OG ‘Tech Grey’ makeup, and while the VNTG treatment with subtly pre-yellowed midsoles is as unexpected as the colorway, it’s the two packmates that make this most intriguing. They don’t necessarily have the most direct ties to the Revolution, but the ’Auburn’ Air Trainer SC High and ‘Citron’ SC II are themselves known as Bo Jackson signatures (and both available fairly recently). One classic basketballer and two cross-training pillars come together with light antique touches this Friday, June 14th, so stick with Sneaker News to see if the trio hits shops in addition to Overkill.

It was whimsical in a quartet of Hawaiian floral print colorways, and now the Nike Cortez gets a bit more fierce in a trio of fresh new camouflage designs. The Cortez ‘Camo Pack’ utilizes a similar layout to those Aloha editions, adding the namesake print to nylon side panels with suede running up the middle. Leather Swooshes bring in the camos’ accent shades, so check out navy/gold, bred and black/silver variations below and stick with Sneaker News to see if these arrive in the US or if they’re AP exclusives like this spring’s ‘City Pack’.

We already told you a couple of days ago that the Nike Air Pegasus 92 was coming back in OG form. Well, this time around we’ve got actual shots of the sneaker to show off instead of those flat catalog renderings. As you can see, they don’t end up with too many of the vintage style touches that have characterized some of the other officially “OG” labeled retros from the likes of Nike. Get a peek at the Nike Air Pegasus 92 OG in white/black/pink after the jump and keep in mind that End Clothing already has them available for pre-order.

Nike Sportswear did a good thing with the ‘Court Blue’ Air Solstice, so we’re happy to report another Quickstrike colorway on the way. This Nike Air Solstice QS mixes suede, mesh and textile in the rarely seen Storm Red shade as accented by Sandtrap with a Sail midsole. It’s the kind of look that’s synonymous with New Balance Classics, and now joins NSW mainstays from the Air Max series in providing the full spectrum of old school running possibilities. Check out more images after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for US release info.

Revive Customs is back at it, once again going at a high-concept theme via the Nike Air More Uptempo. The pair, labeled as the Nike Air More Uptempo “Popular Myth and Destruction of Sodom”, was inspired by Revive’s own thoughts and opinions on the art world and what value custom sneakers have in that scene. Also worth mentioning, they were created for a member of the K-Pop band Big Bang (Trivia bit: Big Bang is signed to YG Entertainment, the same label as Psy of Gangham Syle fame). Continue reading to see the surreal results of this latest Revive Customs job after the jump and then drop your responses in the comments box below.

The latest Nike WMNS Air Max 1 Essential is one that’s going to have more guys going 1.5-up than any pair in recent memory. Nike Sportswear got the ‘Essential’ part of this release’s name right because with a tonal grey suede construction plus a hint of melon up top and on the outsole, you’re looking at the latest unofficial heir to Jeff Staple’s popular Pigeon motif. These were pegged for a June release date and have been pushed back slightly, so have a closer look below, then pre-order in advance of the July ship date from Titolo.
