The latest Nike Roshe Run to hit us with that split midsole look is one whose primary pigment reaches back to the very early days of Nike branding their color codes. This new Military Blue edition reaches back to the summer of 1989 with that namesake original Air Jordan IV, and this one has a fair share of 1990s dog days thanks to the Sprite effect from the Turbo Green and Summit White sole. So this colorway of today’s hottest lifestyle shoe at least in terms of coloring can be seen to borrow from the past, and it’s available now at shops like Politics.

Nike Roshe Run “Anthracite” – Available

About three weeks ago, we got our first look at a new type of mesh on the Nike Roshe Run. This style swapped out the original mesh that’s the standard for this shoe and switched to one that could accommodate more layering. In turn, the color placed as the base layer for these pairs’ toes extend down onto a new style of split midsole, pictured here in Anthracite with an unnamed red color out in front.
