This time of year usually signals a plethora of posts about the Nike Roshe Run Sneakerboot, but for whatever reason, it looks like the Swoosh has saved some of the best looks of the original silhouette for the remainder of the year. First there was that tonal Nike Flyknit Roshe Run in Grey/Navy and then earlier today the Nike Roshe Run NM SP showed that the sleek natural motion pair could hold down a material as lifestyle-inclined as suede. The sportswear view continues with this “Light Ash Grey” Roshe Run comes to the forefront, featuring a tumbled texture on the toebox to coincide with suede side panels and a leather Swoosh. Are you feeling all of the premium takes on the Nike Roshe Run we’ve seen throughout October? Check out more from this premium Suede Roshe after the break and stay tuned for a stateside release date in the near future. Just incase you can’t wait though, know that international shops like Titolo have already started stocking them.

Whenever you see that “SP” designation on a Nike shoe, you know you’re in for a treat. Nike Sportswear has taken its iconic performance models and given them considerable upgrades in materials in quality with its SP initiative, and these new Roshe Run releases are a clear example of this method of refinement. We’ve seen this style with the country-inspired World Cup releases, but these grey/black and blue/mint pairs definitely exude the higher-end appeal you would expect from the SP line. Check out these Nike Roshe Run NM SP releases below and we’ll let you know when these hit stores.

flyknit roshe run grey navy Nike Flyknit Roshe Run Grey Navy

Is Flyknit the best upgrade yet on the Nike Roshe Run? We’re starting to see new colorways filter out, but this clean grey/navy pair might be the top pick of the upcoming crop due to the simplicity of the colorway. Of course, if you vibe more with the multi-color affairs, you can easily pass on these, but the grey knit upper is too hard to pass up. Get a detailed look at this upcoming release after the jump and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates on a release date.

Nike Flyknit Roshe Run – Light Charcoal – Dark Obsidian – Wolf Grey

October 9th, 2014 by | No comments

nike flyknit roshe run light charcoal dark obsidian wolf grey 01 Nike Flyknit Roshe Run Light Charcoal Dark Obsidian Wolf Grey

It only took a few colorways for the Nike Flyknit Roshe Run to cement itself as a must have. The thinking behind it isn’t too difficult to follow – outfit the ever-popular and comfortable Roshe Run with a slimmer Natural Motion sole while ditching mesh for the coveted flyknit and voilĂ . Past releases like the “Random Yarn Color” stood out in part for the vibrance but we’ve received some tonal pairs as well. This “Light Charcoal” aesthetic fits into that category quite nicely with a muted, near heather grey speckling throughout the top. Nothing too flashy, just another solid look for everyday use. Stay tuned for a stateside release date, but just incase you can’t wait, the pair is available right now from select overseas retailers like Unisport.

nike roshe run tropical floral Nike Roshe Run Print Tropical Floral Sample

There’s another floral Nike Roshe Run on the way. This one sports a black background and what appears to be some sort of orchid print across the top. We’ve not yet seen a Nike Roshe Run pair that achieves the same level of photo depth as the ZX Flux, but it’s certainly getting closer with releases like this one. No word on a release date yet, but they’re apparently on the way for 2015. Get another angle for this Nike Roshe Run style below the break and tell us in the comments if you’re feeling them.

Nike Sportswear FB “Camo” Pack – Available

nike sportswear fb camo pack available Nike Sportswear FB Camo Pack Available

Nike Sportswear is always doing exciting things to kick off fall and this year is no exception. Throw a “Wheat” Timberland inspiration on the Nike Air Foamposite? Sure, why not? Bring back Shox technology in a lifestyle shoe? Check. It definitely says something when one of the more subtle things the Swoosh’s lifestyle imprint is doing is extending the upper on the Nike Air Max 1 and outfitting it in a clean camouflage print to make the shoe a year round affair. And if an Air Max 1 Mid wasn’t enough, they even outfitted the Nike Roshe in a matching colorway. This marks the first time that we’re seeing the Nike Roshe Run FB paired with that Natural Motion outsole, and it adds an even sleeker aesthetic to the silhouette championed by that FB Yeezy release in years past. So which tonal camouflage pair are you feeling? As always we have a better view for you after the click and head over to Sneaker Politics to reserve your pair today.

nine at nine flyknits summary Sneaker News NINE@NINE: Fascinating Flyknits

When the Nike Flyknit technology was first introduced to the world in February of 2012, it was described as a “knit for performance to create running footwear that features only the essentials”. There were stats trotted out about the incredibly lightweight Flyknit Racer (5.6 ounces for a size 9) and plenty of words written about their second skin nature – a feeling that Nike has been trying to get at for decades now. Since that 2012 launch, Nike Flyknit has gone on to be a massive success, and has quickly spilled out of the running range that it was originally introduced with.
