Arriving at Nike SB retailers as a Quickstrike release this June is the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski in the ‘Vino Rosso’ colorway. It took nearly a year for these wine-stained Janoskis to finally hit stores, but after aging just a bit more, these have been bottled up and corked for your pleasure next month. With the Janoski continuing to be a consistent success for Nike Skateboarding, these special edition releases should go down more often, would you not agree? It even appears that the shoes will be packaged in individual shoe bags for that extra special note of attention. Move over, Kanye/Kim, Jay-Z/Beyonce, and Wiz/Amber, because SNL funnyman Jason Sudeikis and rising big-screen star Olivia Wilde are moving up fast in the Celebrity Sneakerhead Couple power rankings! The couple was spotted shooting some hoops in Tribeca wearing some notable Nikes, and it’s clear that Olivia had the upper hand in this sneaker pairing as she wore the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Hemp’ of 2004 (releasing on the famed 4/20 mark, which was also the last release of the ‘Hemp’ Pack). Jason kept it simpler by wearing the Navy/Red colorway of the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Omega Pack’ – a 2010 release. Its once signature strap will soon return to the Nike SB Dunk Mid, and so far, each of the previewed colorways has been decidedly simple. We haven’t seen more than three (relatively muted) colors on a single pair since we learned of the Mid Strap’s return last November, so a new ‘Elite Series’-leaning colorup coming up for Q4 can immediately stake its claim for the most visually engaging yet. These dark suede Dunk Mid Pro SBs add a Metallic Gold Swoosh for a feel that’s fairly high energy when compared to the ‘Brickhouse’-style Baroque Brown edition you’ll also see below. 2012′s been filled with ups and downs for Nike SB. News of the eventual merging of all the Action Sports product lines into one label could remove ‘SB’ for good (with the exception of the heritage models), and a lack of the ever-so-popular ’4/20′ Dunk release had SB fans worried that the end of SB could come sooner than later. But looking back, it’s been a fairly strong line-up thus far; the ‘Nontourage’ and Premier ‘Petosky’ collaborations breathed some extra life into the Dunk, and the ‘Beer Bottle Pack’ Quickstrikes had us excited about the SB Dunk High for good reason. Not much more has been made about the Beer Bottle Pack after it released overseas (a true Quickstrike), but hopefuly the the Pack will round out to an even six (any suggestions of what international brews should finish off the set?). If you missed out on both pairs, these have just popped up for sale; we’d like to point out that these are not an official set, but you can cop both with ease right now by copping this size 9.5 set from wujekmisiek on eBay.

How many pairs of the Nike SB Team Edition do you own? Chances are not too terribly many as this model has been quiet lately, seemingly content to let the signature bearing Nike SB team models take the spotlight. The summer selection is serving up at least one colorway, this pair of silver sidewalk surfers that keep things pretty neutral with the suede uppers. There’s a hidden bit of punch via the cool blue insoles, but other than that the sneaker stays in its unassuming lane, ending up as a solid no-frills release built to be skated. After reporting numerous updates regarding the enigmatic release of the ‘Entourage’ SB Dunk Low, we’ve finally reached a release date as it appears that May 19th seems to be the target drop date for most Nike SB account holders. Just yesterday we hit you up with the May 19th release info for Premier, so be advised that your local shop might have them tomorrow if you haven’t received any confirmation.
