Eric Koston’s long-time hobby of golf was the focus of his latest signature shoe – the Nike Eric Koston 2. Sneaker News sat down with Eric and designer Shawn Carboy and talked about the unusual union of skate and golf, and spent a few moments discussing that sick red PE-style shoe that Tiger actually autographed for Eric. Those sick red golf shoes, called the Nike Koston 2 Spike, was dubbed “Tiger Sunday Red”, a nod to those bright red polos he wears on Sunday matches, but unfortunately, the Nike Koston 2 Spike in this daring color isn’t available in stores just yet. As you can see, the Nike Koston 2 Spike shares the same upper design as the Nike Koston 2 skate shoe, but with tonal red embossed snakeskin print above a golf-ready spike foundation. The Nike Koston 2 IT is available now, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for updates on this Koston x Woods golf shoe.

firecracker nike sb dunk 1 Firecracker Nike SB Dunk Low

We’ll avoid the play on words regarding the “Caution, Flammable” on the heel and how “hot” these shoes are, but we’ll just point out that these SB Dunks are one of the more impressive ones we’ve seen in recent memory. With a clear nod to the upcoming July 4th holiday, this Nike SB Dunk Low “Firecracker” features the red/white floral-like graphic print on the ankle collar – the same print seen on those cheap yet entertaining firecrackers we used to get ourselves in trouble with years ago. In addition to the outer features, these Dunks have special insoles that depict fireworks, a staple of the Independence Day holiday. No solid release info yet, but check out the new detailed gallery below for a better look and stay tuned for more.

We first previewed this sick “Ostrich” version of the Nike SB Dunk Mid in March, reporting a release during the Summer 2013 season. As these are beginning to hit stores, let’s take another look at them below; the colorway itself is a great mix of red and orange tones, with the emphatic Ostrich material adorning the ankle strap and heel panel for that “mita” look. These are available now at LegacySkateStore so give the extra photos a review and look out for these to hit more SB accounts soon.

Just yesterday we gave you a look at a special pair of the Nike SB Dunk Low which featured a special insole with graphics of fireworks, hinting at an Independence Day theme. Additional views of this upcoming release is upon us, and we’re revealed one of the dopest concepts from Nike SB we’ve seen in a while, with a red/white graphic on the heel being taken directly from firecrackers that we all loved to get in trouble with back in the day. The italicized NIKE heel embroidery is replaced with “CAUTION” and “FLAMMABLE” as well. More shots below so take a look and stay tuned for release info.
