Nike Air Flow Magenta Action Red Stealth

The Air Flow tells one of the most impressive and the surprising comeback stories in Nike Retro footwear, leading to a number of sequels in Lunar form with unique materials like Woven and perforated leather. Previewed back in September of 2011 – right after the drop of the two OG TZ releases – is this new colorway with the use of a Mexican blanket-like print on the toe-box up to the tongue; it’s sorta like a reverse mullet – all business in the rear, party in the front. Nikestore just made the Magenta/Action Red-Stealth colorway available for purchase so take a look at the extra shots below and don’t miss out on this funky Spring/Summer release!

Nike Huarache Free Run Black Red Mahogany Scarlet Fire

We’ve known for twenty-one years that Nike’s Huarache runner can handle the exuberant colorways that typified its era of origin.  And this spring, we’ve seen the updated Nike Huarache Free Run excel in the uniquely simple colors and blocking patterns that historians will use to recall the current day.  Here’s further proof of this model’s perfect adaptation to today, a tonal red drop that’s so skillfully balanced that the fade from bright Scarlet Fire to black seems about as perfect a fade as you’d get this side of a the gradients on modern synthetic performance builds.  A key element of this expert blend is the dual-colored mesh that came on a couple of the recent B-Ball drops; how do these compare to the best we’ve seen from both Huarache revivals?  Leave a comment after the jump when you click through to see more images before buying at NikeStore.

Nike Huarache Basketball 2012 Red Mahogany Scarlet Fire

Sneaker News just showed you a new Huarache Free Run that utilizes the same basic color scheme as the above pictured new release, and by comparing the two, we can learn quite a bit about the function of colorblocking in sneaker design.  This new Nike Huarache Basketball 2012 has the same Red Mahogany and Scarlet Fire shades as the HFRs, even the same multicolored mesh on the toe, and yet, the tonal effect on these is entirely differen than their cousin.  Whereas the lowtop runner has a look that effortlessly fades from the bright red through that mesh, the darker shade and then a textured black, this pair gives us today’s style in the form of a bright tonal inset on the otherwise Mahogany build.  Let us know which of these contemporary styles suits your fancy and grab these new Huarache Free B-Balls from NikeStore.

Nike Huarache Free Run White Soar Cyber | Available

Even if the Huarache Free Run isn’t exactly what Nike Retro fans were expecting, the Retro ‘hybrid’ has been a huge hit thus far. Like the original, the Huarache Free Run is insanely comfortable and lightweight, making for easy walk-arounds and running sessions while owning the satisfaction of wearing some pretty sexy kicks. The White/Soar/Cyber colorway has been on the Sneaker News radar for some time as it captures that near-original colorway with ease, and with Nikestore just making these available, we suggest you head into April correctly by throwing these into your immediate rotation.
